It's really not that funny.

I could pull a lot of posts of anyone saying shit they don't think now from February.

Get bent over your excuse-making for Mark Castle; by the time he and Sanchez are on the "same level", it'll be time for Mark Castle to retire. And isn't that swell?
Sanchez is a true rook on a winning team with a rook Head Coach; I'm sure he weeps nightly for your approval.

Sanchez and Cassel have been playing at the same level. If you can't see that in the last 3 games, then you are blinded by Sanchez homerism. Both QBs are playing average. One of them makes big plays and a ton of mistakes. One of them makes few mistakes but limited big plays.

The only thing separating the two teams is a supporting cast. How quickly you forget that the Jets were 9-7 last year, while the Chiefs were 2-14.

Gimme a break.

I said that for one month.

In December, I believe I stated otherwise.

Notice how I mentioned "IF" in every post? IF Thigpen continues to play extremely well, it would be FOOLISH to spend a first or second round draft choice on a QUARTERBACK.

The Chiefs won't be a in a position to draft Stafford anyway so if that's your thinking, forget about it.

Detroit will take him in heartbeat.

Mmm...what happened to Flat Cassel? He was going to be "Mr. Badass", and show the world how right his supporters were and how wrong I and others were about him?

Yeah, that really materialized...

But as was stated a bajillion times before this season even began, the built-in excuse list was primed and ready to go should "Mr. Badass" plop a turd in the punch bowl, and lo and behold if it hasn't come to pass exactly as we stated.

Meanwhile, Sanchez and Rex are 3-3, which by my math puts the Jets at .500 as of today, which is all I ever predicted for them this season anyway.

Anyway, please resume your "tryin to feel good about the FAIL-fest".

Ta-ta, shoo-shoo, carry on...

I don't know about "Mr. Badass", but he's definitely outplayed Sanchez. If you put Cassel on the Jets team, they're probably 5-1.

How funny that the douche is here to deflect this from being about the horrible play of Sanchez and back to Cassel. If Cassel would have had a game as bad as Sanchez's yesterday, EVERYONE on the board, including myself would be ready to pull the plug.

We won't even talk about the horrid 3 game streak of Sanchez...

He played like shit in weeks 4 and 6.

You thought Sanchez played poorly in Edwards' debut?

And rightfully so, seeing as how he's a 27 year old, 5th year vet.

I've been thinking the same thing reading this thread. Sanchez made some really nice throws against Miami.

LaChapelle 10-19-2009 05:29 PM

Miami - 3 picks
Bills - 5 picks
8 picks in 2 games ain't good

Yeah, but given the team surrounding Cassel.... it would be more understandable.

And he also made a lot of shitty ones, and some horrible decisions.

Cotchery will be back this week, so they'll both get to work again I'm sure.
