I didn't miss it. I'm just trying to figure out why you are bringing up pick 1.1 when it's long gone. They'd be trading up in the 2nd for a 2nd round player you moron.

If you're trying to figure out why 1.1. was mentioned with regards to taking a QB in a GENO!!!! thread, you're a complete ****ing idiot.

So tired of hearing about the "love" the Chiefs have for Albert.

You can love someone without being in love. Trust me, I heard this throughout adolescence. :deevee:

If this conversion happened 24 hours ago I would complete understand why 1.1 was mentioned, but unfortunately for you it's not.

There were other veteran rejects available that wouldn't have cost that price. But yet, let's just keep doing it, it is going to work one of these times, it has to!

My biggest problem with the whole issue, is that they did it right out of the chute, just like ***** did. Heck, I doubt they even knew where the washroom was yet, neither one of them.

round and around we go, we are going to catch that tail one of these days!

The way they have been doing it isn't working.

They even sat Todd Blackledge on the bench to watch, until the fans got so restless that they put him in.

Now, I am in the minority, for sure.

But I think sitting and "learning" put fear of failure in Stanzi that he didn't have when he played his first exhibition game. The Iowa College fans that I know, said he didn't have that choking fear in Iowa either. So yeah, lets do something different that hasn't proven over and over to fail, throw a kid in there and see if he succeeds prior to ruining him.

That was my issue as well. They decided on him before the ink was even dry on Reid's contract (probably before an actual contract existed to sign).

He did kind of act Vince Youngish last night, though if that happened to me I might act Vince Youngish myself. Though if its between Geno and Bray I say
Geno > Bray

Exactly keg, and that is what has led me to believe that once these GMs agreed to a deal, Clark dropped the other shoe and told them how things are done in KC.

That has been a sad situation that the NFL/Espn have been putting these young men in for years.
They keep panning in on them when they aren't picked, squirming and embarrassed.

This practice should be stopped just like they did on the phone calls to keep from divulging the pick.

Bill Kenney it seemed was never bad enough to bench or good to enough to win. Thus Blackledge really never got the best shake. Never really was allowed just to take the whole reigns and go with. Now he didn't turn out to be anything but he did have a winning record when he left KC. Nowhere near as bad as the other busts of the 80s like Joziwak, Ethan Horton, Anthony Hancock, Paul Palmer, Willie Scott.
