what kind of bet do you want to make that he'll be a Seahawk in 2017?

I do not bet money on things that I cannot control.

Not in any way.

Do the Chiefs think Justin Houston isn't a top tier player because they haven't reached an agreement with him yet?

So, Franchise QB = OLB?

I disagree, otherwise, he'd be signed a long term deal this season, before the cap is set to go up $20 million next year.

Waiting will cost them more money, especially if Wilson continues to guide his team deep into the playoffs.

Hootie 06-24-2015 02:16 PM

so Dane ... you'd take Ryan Tannehill over Russell Wilson, right?

Where did I say that? Oh, that's right, I never said that.

As I stated earlier, I think Wilson is a $17-$20 million dollar player. Anything beyond that is overpaying and he does not deserve to be paid as the highest QB in the league.

Not even close.

Seattle won that game in spite of Wilson's play not because of it. He threw two red zone interceptions and finished the game with barely over 200 yds passing. In overtime, he was allowed to throw exactly one pass while the team rode Marshawn Lynch to victory vs. the winless Bucs.

As has already been pointed out, that Seahawk line is vastly overrated, giving up the most pressures over the last 3 years.
Wilson, and Lynch, make them look much better than they actually are.

Nope. Just normal negotiations. We haven't payed Houston yet. Is that an indication of what we think of him?
