I'm pretty sure that is Jones.

The only thing I'm concerned with is Gaines' health. Between Gaines, Nelson, and Russell, I think we have to most talented #'s 2-4 that we've had in the past 3 years.

Like I said before, talent >>> experience.

That's why we have Al Harris and Emmit Thomas.

It sounds silly, but I'm actually as concerned about Peters as anybody else.

Peters is so aggressive that any kind of sophomore slump could hurt a lot.

▪ Outside linebacker Dee Ford had a nice day. The defense racked up its fair share of sacks during the 11-on-11 period, and it can be tough to tell who should get credit for a sack because quarterbacks are not live, but Ford was in the vicinity for at least two sacks and maybe even a few more. His first step remains explosive and working against a very good right tackle like Mitch Schwartz — who flashed a strong, violent punch — everyday will only help his development as a pass rusher.

▪ Rookie left guard Parker Ehinger moves well laterally on running plays. He also seems to keep his head on a swivel in pass protection.

Watching Morse do that very same thing at C was what convinced me he could be a player in this league.

Interior lineman with a nice feel for pressure are a huge asset. If Ehinger really does have that sort of innate ability to know where he needs to go to find someone to hit, he'll be a nice guy to have.

I was way down on that pick, but that's definitely a good thing to hear.

Well, we could probably work up a good worry about anyone. Why Peters? Kid flat looks like a natural CB to me. Innate skills, aggressive, wants to excel, what's to worry about? Plus, I think everyone is forgetting about the fact that our DB coaches are excellent. Stuff like that matters.

Wanna worry, how about Dee Ford? Great initial step and that's pretty much it, lacks instinctive LB skills, kinda shies from contact? Much more worried about Ford than Peters.

Jah Reid should be moved to Guard permanently

This OL has a chance to be a dominant unit by years end, IMO.

Aside from 1 play it sounds like Conley hasn't done shit.

Any days they are doing something unique or more to see than regular?

I'm takin a day trip up next week on Wednesday, LB autograph day. My son is a huge tamba fan and my wife hopes for a chance to meet DJ too.
