What would impress me is, as others have implied here, for Pat to return from injury, lead the team to the playoffs and then reach the Super Bowl and win it along with being named game MVP. That would be some ending for the history books.

yes, I posted it at 4 PM in this thread

i can't imagine he plays this Sunday but I'm gonna guess there might be a chance he only misses one or two games based on that comment

17 days rest is a lot and 24 is even more

If he’s legitimately 100% healthy in a couple weeks, fine. Just please don’t rush him back. That would be incredibly foolish.

My hunch has always been that Pat misses two games and comes back against the Titans...that would be three and a half weeks rest before taking the field.

Rapoport just now on Gameday morning says that the Chiefs haven’t even discussed surgery for after the season based on the results of the MRI(!!!)

Said that there were no tears of any ligament, largely because of him not moving on the field.

Also said he’s out for the next 3 games, maybe the 4th, then back after the bye at the latest.

That would be 3.5 weeks from his injury. I say when he is ready he is ready and you play him :shrug:

His ankle will be healed and this isn't the type of knee injury that will hamper his mobility though he will likely have a brace.
