They won’t get much trading either because the other team is going to have to eat salary to make it worthwhile.

We'll sign a bargain CB FA at some point (a la Breeland last year) and probably draft one as well.

We seem to have a really good staff of defensive coaches right now and plug n play CB's seem to kind of work in Spags scheme (i.e. you don't need great CB's necessarily). Seems to rely more on getting pressure and disguising coverages, so I think we'll be alright. Last year worked out okay.

Lot of decent corners left. We tried to get Ronald Darby last year. Would love to sign him to a 2 year deal.

$3 million cap hit last year. We can probably afford that with a Sammy restructure

This is me at this point. If by dumping Watkins and LDT we can keep Breeland, Pennel, and Jones then I'm all for it. (Mahomes is a given)
