As that trust builds the more Pat will look for Skyy and feed him when opposing teams adjust coverages. I see Skyy Moore catching fire around week 12 or so.

So a mid second round pick will be the number 1 true wide receiver on a prolific pass first offense his rookie year?

And that will be because KC's other WR's are that bad? Or NFL scouts screwed up and let him fall that far? That would even include KC who traded back a few picks with Moore ripe to be plucked by some other team.

Skye Moore has the biggest hands in the history of the NFL. He'll catch EVERYTHING!

Moore will likely be the 4th best WR.

Unless MVS changes from the 1 trick pony he's been his whole career, I don't see how he outproduces Skyy if Skyy is healthy the whole season.

I honestly have no idea what to expect from the WR group in terms of how they will be 1-4.

On one hand, JuJu seems the most likely to be the leader in terms of productio/targets.

On the other hand, MVS has reportedly been Pat's favorite so far in OTAs and mini camp.

Then you have Hardman, who has been his best when Tyreek is out of the lineup, and he has the most experience in this offense and with Pat.

And Skyy Moore is probably the most talented with the most upside.

I think it's a good problem to have, but I can honestly see any of those guys being WR1 (production/targets wise) by the end of the season.

Oh, man. What if all these guys hit and Pat goes nuclear for like 5,500 and 55 TDs or something..

tmax63 06-25-2022 02:41 PM

Then people around here would say that he'd had 6000/60 if they'd only kept Hill.

It's just off season talk, but MVS did an interview where he said he basically didn't run a lot of intricate routes in Green Bay, that his job was to be the go route and post route guy to take a safety and extra coverage off of Devante Adams if he could. But here, they've had him running all the route trees at X and Y (supposedly).

I'm telling you. Skyy Moore will produce if given the snaps. Just wait. Yuuuge pick.

Kiimo 06-25-2022 06:05 PM

I actually think Skyy will be great but I'm also pretty excited for MVS. Before he ever came to the Chiefs the analytics people loved him and thought he was capable of significantly more than he was getting to do in Green Bay.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if MVS gets better stats than any of the other receivers this year and it seems like the OTAs are right in line with that idea.

Well Rodgers himself said 75% of the plays were ran with the intent to free up Adams, so it's definitely believable.

Yep. He’s going to be much better in this offense than people realize.

If it’s true that Hardman has taken a step forward, this could sneakily be a really solid receiving corps.

RealSNR 06-25-2022 08:30 PM

I don't care if MVS ends up being good. I'm still going to call him Exxon Valdez because that shit is hilarious.

I'm blaming you if he develops fumble-itis this season, lol

Are you ****ing serious right now? I mean really? Training camp and pre-season has not even taken place! Let's call this draft pick a total LOSS before it begins. LMFAO! Wake up and follow the flow of the, wait for it, OFF SEASON!

I don't think there's anything sneaky about it. I fully expect this to be a very solid receiving corps 4 or 5 deep. I think that's the whole idea, and Reid, Veach, and Mahomes expect that too.
