I’d honestly feel ok about our defense minus Jones not shitting the bed each week if we just had somebody competent instead of Nnadi

EDIT: Not to mention the longer he holds out the lower his tag number is next year, costing him more money.

Unneeded drama. Don’t understand Jones moves here at all.
Chiefs just need to clear their heads and move forward knowing they are without him.
I welcome him back, but this guarantees more drama down the road.

Hopefully he returns week 2...it doesn't make sense to sit out longer than week 1 now. Assuming he's hoping missing week 1 will help get an more of what he wants and see how this defense does without him in a real game.

Yeah he'll be fresh, but my concern is he'll halfass it and basically become a locker room distraction
