Had to dirty a few barrels this afternoon.
This little thing raises in the hand more than I figured it would. http://s28.postimg.org/b3nqcckdp/IMG_4599fb.jpg |

Can you make out the blurred pinkish target in the mud on the edge of the field? It's about 30 yards away and I'm on an elevated pond damn looking down. It was the farthest of the balloons I had out and I never did break it. |

Went to buy a firearm today. For the first time in the 20+ firearm purchases I was delayed. On a scale of 1-10 on being pissed, I'm at a 10. For shits sake, my job requires a gun on me at all times.

The picture actually made me go watch slow motion pistol shooting vids on youtube. These things move in the hand at the shot way more than I thought they did. Check out this guy's firmly supported 2 handed shot and compare the barrel angles from aiming to around the 25 second mark. |

Yeah, that will last........

I'm thinking of getting a mount and scout scope for my Mosin Nagant. I think I have the mount picked out, but do any of you have experience with long eye relief scopes? Any recommendations?

I like the way Russian gear looks, But in all honesty, a Zeiss 3-9 would probablywork well with a Nagant. |
