I think it's unlikely that Mafe is my preferred choice at either of those picks. Or Ojabo.

I just don't see it being likely there isn't a S (Hill, Brisker) or CB (Elam, Booth) or DE (Williams, Thomas) or DT (Winfrey, Jones) that is a better fit for what KC needs.

I can’t see the Chiefs doubling down at DB in the 1st after investing their #1 FA priority there too.

I also don’t think Williams, Thomas, Winfrey, or Jones will be 1st rounders at the end of the day.

I’m trying to read the tea leaves a bit here, and while I like all those guys, I just don’t see it.

Yeah, I get that. I also just don’t see them using a 1st on Mafe when he so clearly looks like a 2-pt stance guy.

Maybe they trade up a bit from 29 and then down from 30.

Did a quick 3 round mock, thoughts? I’m still learning here.

Love the first 3 picks.

I like Asamoah and White, but not a huge fan of taking those positions early.

Your only addition to the defensive line is a DE who tore his Achilles. Not great, Bob.

I sent 30, 62 and 2023 1st to the Washington Commanders for 11, 189 and a 2023 4th.

Later, I sent 113 and the 2023 6th from Miami to New Orleans for 120, 160 and a 2023 5th.

11 - CB Sauce Gardner
29 - WR Treylon Burks
50 - DT Devonte Wyatt
94 - EDGE Nik Bonitto
120 - CB Zyon McCollum
121 - S Nick Cross
135 - RB Pierre Strong Jr.
160 - S Markquese Bell
189 - EDGE Josh Paschal
233 - DT Eyioma Ewazurike
243 - LB Jeremiah Moon
251 - OT Bam Olaseni
259 - NT Noah Elliss
2024 4th WAS
2024 5th NO

I usually don't make any trades but once Sauce fell out of the top-10 I had to move. My only regret is I probably could've gotten a 2023 5th from WAS as well.

My favorite picks are Wyatt at 50 and Bonitto at 94 along with Bell at 160 and Paschal at 189.

I also like the nearly 700lbs of beef added to the trenches late on day-3 with Big Bam Olaseni (6'8" 330/88" wingspan) and Noah Elliss (6'4" 365).

Bam is really intriguing...very raw and inexperienced still. Sort of scary to think what he might become with two to three years of NFL OL coaching.

And Noah...man...if he could get DOWN TO around 340...he could be a problem. I really like this dude as a late day-3 or priority UDFA.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">NT Noah Elliss - Idaho<br><br>6’4 365lbs <br><br>This dude is a brick wall but oddly has a legitimate get-off/first step… Hilarious to watch a 360lb NT play with a high butt, track stance<br><br>Will have some <a href="https://twitter.com/ShrineBowl?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@ShrineBowl</a> highlights <a href="https://t.co/wC5VQIF2qD">pic.twitter.com/wC5VQIF2qD</a></p>&mdash; Ben Fennell (@BenFennell_NFL) <a href="https://twitter.com/BenFennell_NFL/status/1483883280495792132?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 19, 2022</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Overall, this is an obviously HIGHLY unlikely haul, especially with the way, the first few picks fell. Nonetheless, If this class were to actually happen I think most Chief fans would be pleased. ::thumb:

Correction on this. I sent 103 (not 113) and the MIA '23 6th to NOLA for 120, 160 and their '23 5th. Must have been thinking about WAS' picks.

First Mock draft ever. I never knew these simulators existed. Only did 4 rounds.

Loved this mock draft. I got my favorite pass rusher that is within reach (via trade) and 2 of my favorite WRs although I was going to snag Edge-Boye Mafe instead of Pierce at 50 until Minnesota plucked him at 49.

Also, I'm an idiot though really wanted Zyon McCollum either at 122 or 135. I decided to wait until 135 and Buffalo picked him at 130. I'm intrigued by Troy Anderson though and got him instead. He's raw with very high upside but has a 10 RAS and he'd hopefully guarantee Neiman wouldn't be back.

This is profootballnetwork.com's mock draft simulator.

13. (via trade 29/62/103 and next year's 2nd) Jermaine Johnson
EDGE Florida State

37. (trade back offer 37/80 from Texans) Christian Watson
WR North Dakota State

50. Alec Pierce
WR Cincinnati

80. (from Texans) Jalyn Armour-Davis
CB Alabama

94. Isaiah Thomas
EDGE Oklahoma

122. (via trade back 1 spot with colts and 259 for 122/179) Jeffrey Gunter
EDGE Coastal Carolina

135. Troy Andersen
LB Montana State

That’s an absolute no from me, dawg. ****ing shitty run for KC.

If KC trades up that much with Karlaftis on the board and doesn’t take him, I’ll be floored.

And ****ing Breece Hall with all the defensive talent on the board? Yeah, just absolutely ridiculous.

Still waiting on that answer if any good player was still at the same level after their Achilles rupture?

I’m genuinely curious bc I don’t see anyone. And that worries me with Ojabo. I don’t get taking him when so many other guys like Cam Thomas will be there
