I mentioned this in the Mecole thread about his PC from a couple days ago.

True... but I'm hoping he's actually "mature" instead of "matured," since he had such a long way to go.

Tyreek's answer was pretty interesting.

Not too much different than a young Travis Kelce. Mecole’s just also raw on the field.

That's the hope. If he can take the next step, it would be huge.

Comes down to if he can run routes better and be in the right place for Mahomes.

Maturity is part of being humble enough to work on what needs to be improved upon.

He specifically mentioned route running as what he worked on.

I see the usual suspects are out with the ad hominem early, over disagreements.

The video evidence is not clear, since we don't get to see what Hardman is doing until the very end.

But based on his previous behavior I would bet money his head was not around when that ball was in the air.

This is good. No doubt after Hardman caused that interception by not being ready for the throw, he apologized to Mahomes in the huddle before the next play.

"That's on me, dawg. My bad, Patrick."

I am sure these words were exchanged. And Patrick made a mental note to be a tick slower with the throw to compensate while Mecole learns the ropes in his new role.

That was my thought, but then Andy Reid wears the special undies as well.
