You guys are eventually going to learn who Mahomes is. Eventually.

He is a really great dude and smart as hell.

But he is an insane person, competitively. He's not the kind of person that you know. He is not only the best player at this sport, he is the kind of guy who will grit out a practice if it means earning a "FP" on the injury report and forcing the other team to raise their eyebrows. He doesn't give a shit. He wants to win as much as you love your kids.

I just say all of this so that we have our expectations where they need to be. It's conceivable he's going to walk as normal as possible and just grit it out to shut up everyone. He doesn't want to be questioned.

That said, all that said: seeing him walk like that is miles better than having him walk like he did at the Jags game.

It's a high ankle sprain, though. A high ankle sprain. Humans were not meant to be upper caliber athletes on a high ankle sprain.

Give Henne the first drive so that Cincy's DC changes his planning for the second drive where Henne comes our for first snap then put MVP in.

Kinda keeps them guessing like it does us. Have Mahomes come out and walk around like it's no big deal, but maybe list him as questionable/doubtful for the game, but then have him start. Give Henne the first team reps with media availability to get it on camera, have Reid say we're getting Henne ready to go.

Mahomes isn't going to let Henne take a snap this week unless Andy forces him to.

Mahomes wants the Bengals to gameplan for him, and he wants to beat them.

Take the most insanely competitive thing you could envision Mahomes doing, and he will do that thing 10 times out of 10. It's who he is.
