Spoiler!
Also, I did get to continue watching the Sony Open golf tournament today when NBC switched their coverage away from it at 6 without having to go to the golf channel I no longer have. |

No issues, and matter of fact, the picture quality was stellar |
We were at The Rooster in Scottsdale; one TV was a full five minutes behind. On Patrick's long run into the red zone, the TVs buffered and we missed part of it.
We had a $2.85 surcharge on our bill. Don't care; we didn't have a reservation and some great people let us sit at their table, drink beer, cheer the Chiefs and have a great time. |

In my limited experience, it fills up similarly to a sports bar in KC before a game, where you have to get there fairly early. Great to see in the desert. |

23 million streamed the game last night. It will happen again. Average wild card game last year was 25 million.
|
They just said 23m viewers during the Lions-Rams halftime show, which makes it the most streamed event of all time. Looks like last year's wildcard games averaged 28.4 million viewers for context.
Still, I bet they're pretty happy about that for a first effort. Last year's Saturday night game only got 20.6m, though the game wasn't particularly interesting (Chargers @ Jags). |
Even with sometimes questionable internet in a rural area I didn't even have 1 issue with lag or buffering at any time. I also enjoyed how they showed shots around the stadium during the TV timeouts when they weren't running ads.
|
the big question is how many will dump it when the free month is over
|
Fine let them expand on this model, they'll never get a dime from me... I'd rather fight thru some constantly buffering shitshow than give in
