The Lakers are my relief from the Chiefs. It's fun to actually pull for a team that has a real chance. This is fun. Unfortunately for the Lakers, I'm pulling for them, which is not good for them.

It's nice to be a fan of a team/organization that has their shit together. Comparing the Lakers organization to the Chiefs is like comparing two kids. One is a prodigy and the other is a self absorbed drug addict.

Seriously man...the Lakeshow turned things around fast! Their "rebuilding years" consisted of losing in the first round of the playoffs. Now they're a serious contender AND they have young talent!

BTW, how about that Luke Walton the last couple of games? Sheesh!

I don't know why I think this because I have nothing solid to base it on but I am beginning to think that Bynum/Ariza are going to pop up in the next series.

One more thing, what ever happened to all of Phil Jacksons critics who said anyone could have coached his last teams to a championship? I guess they are all MIA like all of Kobe's critics.

Word has it Dan Patrick got some leaked info and said Kobe will win the MVP. GO Lakers.


Also, i am starting to get into hoops alot more then football now. I guess when your team sucks ass, its hard to keep following as close as to when they at least were a boarderline play off team.

Can anyone explain to me why that idiot from the Hawks was talking sh*t to Paul Pierce with 22 seconds left in the 4th quarter the other night? I mean talk about just asking for a team to come back the next game to shove it down your throat.

Pretty much. Hawks played out of their minds, including being 8 for 12 at 3 point hsooting (something they're not normally that great at) at one point, to build hte lead. They peaked that game.

The Celtics fans with their sky high expectations after spending enough to buy several small countries to build this team have them all come crashing down only to see the Lakers who nobody picked take it all. It just doesn't get any sweeter than that. :)
