So why would you trade a Pro Bowl Caliber player than?

You wouldnt and hes not. Now he is a solid starter coming off injury whatever thats worth. Probably not a 2nd for some teams. Just like Alex Smith wouldnt cut it as the QB of the future for a lot of teams Brandon Albert isnt a LT of the future for a lot of teams.

Possibly Dorsey has a couple options and keeping Albert if they dont get what their asking for is an option, and just deal with the situation next offseason, hoping the same value is there. I do think they'd prefer to dump him now. They would take that 2nd rounder and run.

You are the biggest ****ing baby on this board. All you do is piss and moan, and talk down to everyone. But, here is the rub. YOU ARE WRONG ALL THE ****ING TIME SO STFU!!!!

He wants to be a Chief but wants Security which is a long term deal.

Can you give specific instances where Albert failed as LT? How many sacks did he give up in this fantasy world of yours? I'm sorry that Albert was not able to give Cassel the necessary ten to twelve seconds in the pocket that he needs.

All the asinine bitching and moaning has zero to do with Albert and everything to do with Geno/smith...

No, it's just more fire for the AIDS tree.

There's no ****ing reason for this team to dump a very good LT and replace him with Joeckel.

WE'RE WASTING THE MOST VALUABLE PICK IN FRANCHISE HISTORY.

This is an abomination.

Wasted picks.

The theme for this offseason.

Agreed.

While all we have to do is trade the #1 pick and guess what you get more picks than if you were trading your franchise LT in Albert.

I do agree that it seems a waste. However, there are no obvious great players in this draft.

This draft sucks ass and this is a shitty year to have the top pick.

Yet in a few years there will be at least 1 player out of this draft that you look back and say, "****! Wish we would have drafted him!"

Why does it make sense to get rid of your franchise LT so you can justify taking a LT as the no. 1 pick? Damn right this is about Alex Cassel, because they're trying to get back the 2nd round pick they stupidly gave away for Alex Cassel. There is no evaluation year. That ****stain will need to win a minimum of two playoff games this year to justify his existence in a Chiefs uniform.

Hindsight is 50/50. May I have a glimpse into your crystal ball since you are the resident draft overseer?
