I love how people are saying he is rushing back, when his recovery will be based on medical recommendation

Gonna need 12 to get a bye and that may not do it depending on the Texans and Colts

This feels like an 11 maybe gets a done type of year.

Again, good for the Chiefs that the next 2 are NFC opponents.

NO

OTHER

TEAM

HAD

MAHOMES

For sure, if anyone can do it, it’s that roster. But it just makes it so much tougher.

Losing those 2 to the colts and texans could be killer.

I think you get to 12 you’ll have a bye for sure

Lol at all the comments from opposing fans (mostly NE) that claim he’s going to get badly injured because they’re rushing him back...

They’re so scared it’s stupid.

Dumb ass Pats fans.

Imagine missing a game for a sore knee. Tom Brady is 42 and has never missed a single game.

ROFL Maybe they don't count 99.5% of a season a game.

Why is Peter Schrager saying that according to Rick Burkholder it is now a 3-6 week recovery for Mahomes?

I really want that bye. I know Mahomes’ health is priority #1, but if he’s truly healthy enough to play, we need it.

No team that has played on wild card weekend has made the SB since 2012. It’s tough as ****.

we are not going to get that #2 slot. We are going to be playing the wild card weekend.

We should blame Darrel Williams for Mahomes injury. If he just picked up the first down literally just stretch your arm out and that’s first. And Mahomes doesn’t run that qb sneak

Actually I thought he did get the 1st. He was on top of a guy not down and over the marker.

LaCanfora saying the same thing....

Honestly the best and most realistic option is holding him out until the bye and he returns for the stretch run.

Yea that would put him back at the Titans game. 3.5 weeks from Thursday. So miss two games at the earliest.

3.The extra rest will allow his knee AND his ankle to heel and be strong for the stretch RN and playoffs.
4.The extra time will force the rest of the team to get their act together and not rest on PMs laurels.
5.He is the most valuable commodity the Chiefs have had and will ever have.

This is a 15 year investment. Why risk it now? Brady will be gone in another year or two. Dynasty will be ours. Why risk it for nothing?

Common sense !!:bravo::wayne::bravo::wayne:

Besides this common sense move makes for a safer BUT more dramatic narrative in the end for this season.;)
