I’ve never had the pleasure of interacting with you, but you’ve been on my mind since you’d posted last. Much like the young men jumping off of transport boats on D-Day, you’ve faced what every man fears most with strength, courage, and grace. You are truly inspirational and more a role model than any player I’ve idolized over my ~30 years as a Chiefs fan. I can only hope I have this kind of dignity. Reading this thread has given me two opinions of you, 1- You’re a bad mother****er 2- You are truly loved by many.

I’ll continue to pray for you and your family. Perhaps we can throw back a few beers and watch the Chiefs win some more Super Bowls when my time comes.
