On that note, I had a weird flash back tonight. My wife was asking our 7 year old what he wanted for a snack, to which he responded "spaghetti". My wife, in turn, said "that's not a snack, it's a meal". Which brought me back to sitting at the K in the mid 2000's and when Emil Brown would hit, the scoreboard would read something like "it's not a snack, it's Emil". Remember that? That was this team a mere decade ago. And that dude was literally a top 2/3 player on the Royals at the time.

My, how we've grown.

I'm almost positive it was him. I kinda suck at recognizing people though. I was even a little unsure about Getz until my wife said "hey I was talking to this guy in line and I saw they name on his ticket was Chris Getz. Why does that sound familiar?"

Getz is a really nice guy who is doing well in the Royals front office. Has done some scouting and some "special assisting" of Dayton Moore.
