Yes.

Everything will stop with the Steelers pick in the 3rd.

Direckshun, you can pick ANY time.

I'll post the compensatory picks on Monday afternoon/evening once they are announced.

It's temporary...

Then again, If we finish the 3rd round before he picks, I may stick his ass with him as retribution for all the talk he's done.

LMAO

If it gets back to Direckshun before he makes that pick, does he get another 24 hours? ROFL

Shit, he's got until the 255th pick if he wants.

Nothing like taking an UDFA as your 3rd round pick...

ROFL

Maybe he's thinking about the money that's going to have to be paid to this 3rd round pick. He's going to hold out until the middle of the 4th round and then use that in contract negotiations.

Arizona Cardinals select Trevor Canfield, OG, Cincinnati

I was wanting to pick up an interior offensive linemen in the mid-rounds to help Arizona in their transition to a zone-blocking scheme and Canfield fits the bill. Happy to have him at the end of the 3rd.

Kind of funny how this draft has fallen.

I honestly don't know if there are going to be any OL picks of value for the Chiefs in the 4th, either.

Happens every year with this mock draft.

I remember people saying the same thing last year. That CP had overvalued OL in the first round of this mock and then the actual draft came and it was even more skewed towards OL. I don't think it is just this mock draft.

you fail the draft, you cock****

Direckshun 03-21-2009 01:26 AM

LMAO. Love the pick for the Giants.

Sorry for abandoning my post. I promise there was a reason behind it, but I guess it doesn't matter.

I'm just going to let Chase Daniels BE the pick, for a couple reasons:

(a.) Nobody's going to pick him anyway.
(b.) He's essentially as good as a forfeited pick anyway, which the Giants would have received for taking too long.
(c.) Poetic justice.

Nevertheless, I've got a stud backup QB now with all the tools.

Sorry for the screwup and I'll be around for the rest of the Draft.

Eh, shit happens. Not a big deal in my eyes.

Anyway, you're more than welcome to make your pick.

If you haven't made a pick to replace him by 11:59pm CST Sunday night, he stays.

OnTheWarpath15 03-21-2009 09:15 AM

Guys-

Good work on getting through 3 rounds in 3 weeks.

After the Steelers make their pick (and the Giants if they so choose) we're on hiatus until at least Monday afternoon.

The compensatory picks should be announced Monday afternoon, and I'll try to get them posted before I head to class Monday night.

If not, it many not be until Tuesday afternoon before I get them posted, as I have class on Tuesday morning as well.

Well, this draft WAS looking pretty good.
