Shots vs. shots on goal are two different things.

Thanks, I'm thinking espn.com didn't used to separate them, so I assumed 'shots' meant 'shots on goal'... it's not two different things in hockey (well, they have 'shots' which are all on goal and the much more subjective and probably unofficial 'scoring chances').

The game is only 95 minutes long. If there were 20 shots, that would be a one every five minutes or less pace.
