Tebow was awful, awful, awful against the Bills in the game before we went to Denver last year. The Broncos had to win or hope Oakland lost.
Tebow just had his worst game ever, yet he still started an almost must win game for the Broncos. Tells me all I need to know. |

In college, he had ELITE accuracy. In the pros, he fell flat on his face in this category. |
How so?
Dude couldn't beat out a high school quarterback that could run the ball. So it was all a business decision? Please. Coaches jobs are to put the best players on the field. If by the hand of God, Tebow didn't miraculously get lucky and win games last year, they could have lost their job. |

Look at Brees. Wasn't good, situation change, great. Brady, wasn't great it college, situational perfect storm, greatness. I'm not trying to say these guys wouldn't have succeeded elsewhere, but it's not always "this player sucks" |

Tebow started in Denver because they spent a first round pick on him (that they traded up for) and they had a minimal investment in Quinn.
Did TebowMania/business play a part in it? sure Were there lots of other factors also in play that meant more than "the fans wanted to play Tebow"? only a fool would think otherwise. |
The current Broncos coaches and management didn't spend a first on Tebow.

I guess its possible, but I highly doubt it. Thats a pretty loyal fanbase. |
I will say that once they played Tebow and he miraculously beat the Phins, there was pretty much no turning back at that point.
