Dude, your previous post documenting your progress is ****ing fantastic. Kudos to you if you keep that shit up.

Working out gives me the best high ever. No way I'm stopping. Plus, I'm only halfway to where I want to be. :D

A month ago my 2 mile run was 21:30. I was pushing it to run a mile straight. Today I made it 1.8 miles without walking. After running 3-4 Times a week my time today was 18:53. Really enjoying running, throwing in weights as well. Going every other day. Tried running back to back days last week but my shins were bugging me. I'm not sure if it's because I'm out of shape, my shoes, or my running style.

shin splints dude. Don't **** with them. Change your shoes. Get some good ones. Rest up. If they hurt, ice them.

Buy these

I get shin splints all the time. Shit sucks but I just deal with it.

I got them bad in college. And (for reasons unknown to me, I goddamn know better) I thought they would go away if I got in better shape. They got serious. Like every step I took hurt bad, even walking.

So I bought some ice packs and ace bandages and laid down an ace bandage, put the icepack on and held it on with the other ace bandage. I didn't really have time to ice them during the day, and that really did help.

Not sure I'd suggest icing all night (until the icepacks got warm), but ice them as often as you can, and the ace bandage thing will definitely press the cold in.

Just wrap from the outside in, meaning wrap it so you push your calf in towards the middle.

I wear Reebok realflex shoes. Never had a problem exercising with them until I added more distance to my runs.

Make sure they have good arch support. I think there was a place in KC that was good at fitting shoes for runners. These other guys would know more of what was available in bigger towns.

Those power-lifter Adidas lewdog owns are really nice. He is an Ox that doesn't fart around when it comes to lifting.

Anyone mess around with pre-workout stim drinks? Found a couple bottles of the original formula Noxipro with DMAA in it, which is now banned. My god that shit is insane..

Just take some cocaine and make your tendons explode.

Yup. Me, too. I honestly feel that I could do nothing but deadlift and maintain a pretty good physique. I start every session with the deadlift, and it all feels like gravy after that...

that being said, deadlift is also the thing I dread most on days when I'm just not feeling it. There's nothing worse than knowing I need to pull X amount, but the ramp ups to X amount are already harder than they should be. Sometimes that shit just feels heavier than at other times.
