Not a huge Briles fan, but I don't have a problem with this. I also wouldn't have a problem if he played his starters every single second of the 2nd half to win 104-10. Style points matter for BCS standings.

Got a Commitment this weekend from a Offensive Tackle (Chris Hughes) out of Harker Heights, just north of Austin. He was one of our top targets and is a big get for this year. These are the type of kids that the team HAS to get in here, to provide an injection of talent. As of right now, he's the best commitment for the coming class - on paper.

I like the future with Willis at QB. Obviously, we still need a lot more talent at the other positions. This team is very young and not very talented. I'm hoping Beaty can field a somewhat competitive team next year. But in reality that may not happen until at least 2017. Gotta have patience although I'm really tired of having patience. I thought Gill was the biggest disaster but I now realize that Weis was just as bad and possibly worse.

The encouraging thing is that these are our two best recruits and they've come the two most recently.
