Good luck with that.

it's a reeruned stance.

some people on here have a unhealthy hate for the Westcoast.

Just turned on the internets and read of this a minute ago. Hate it happened. Then fast forwarding to the end of this thread it sounds like it had to happen.

Hope the Royals win a few this year.

Marcus was outspoken? He normally refused to speak to the press. When he did it was pretty much Marshawn-esque clownshow stuff.

Chiefs started the trade talk :(

So he was a Ballard guy and they checked to see if he was interested?

It doesn’t matter how good someone is at something, if they are begging to leave, won’t stay when their contract is up, and are constantly causing issues behind closed doors... you’re going to fire them, or trade them in this case.

At first glance, I HATED this. And honestly, I don’t think we will get his true worth in return based on talent. But the guy forced their hand it sounds like.

Peters didn't have the leverage though. The Chiefs could have easily kept him here for another 3 years if they wanted. This just reeks of the Chiefs simply wanting to dump a stellar player strictly for attitude.

The guy that's ****ing her now thinks she's awesome, but she hasn't found his liquor cabinet yet.

Back to the basement we go.

hawkchief 02-23-2018 03:06 PM

Good riddance Peters.

RedSea90 02-23-2018 03:06 PM

I have a feeling Veach has his eye on someone in the draft that he really wants. He just needed some ammo to do it. I’m thinking we get their 1st and 4th rd picks. And we move up in the first round.

It makes me sad it didn't work out, but clearly Veach wasn't left with the option of keeping him around. So if the option is to let him leave in a few years for a 3rd round comp pick or trading him now, you trade now.

Especially if he's a piece of shit in the locker room. Which also seems to be the case.

Sad.

Mr_Tomahawk 02-23-2018 03:07 PM

Meh.

We are 1-0 without him, right?

Belichick has had no problem taking on several high maintenance players... Randy Moss, Aqib Talib, etc.
