The main problem ku has is they didn't capitalize on their Orange Bowl win. In fact, they did the opposite. They fired the coach that got them there and hired someone who was way over their head. There isn't any recruit out there who is going to impressed by a BCS win when the program has gone to the dump in the 4 years since.
Missouri used their success in football and their upswing in basketball to move to the SEC. Both had their chances to raise the status of their programs, but only one took advantage of it. |
