You have to remember StL has an insecurity issue....you should live in Columbia. Talk about a schizophrenic town....half of them are Rams/Cards fans and the other half are Chiefs/Royals fans.

There's not much secretive about him. He has ideal size, speed, and athleticism for a pro CB. He plays physical and is a good fit for Cover 2. He did go to a D2 program and is still raw, so that's why he's a late 2 pick.

You don't know that he would have been there in the 6th. Teams have been jumping on corners all day.

I like Dallas draft.....

They got 2 corners and 2 Rb's that I like and my favorite TE.

Frank Okam stays close to home. Hopefully he sees through the chickenshit zone blocking scheme and cusses out Kubiak for such a degenerate c*nt scheme.

I still think the Chiefs should take a LB late here, Henderson, Hayes, Highsmith.

Highsmiths workouts killed him, there was some question if he'd even get drafted last I heard.

About time for the next medlock.

Mecca 04-27-2008 12:38 PM

Thomas Williams gets picked......he was only USC's 5th or 6th best LB.

Coach 04-27-2008 12:38 PM

Thomas, ILB went to Jax.

chiefs1111 04-27-2008 12:38 PM

Thomas Williams from USC just went to the Jags

Dennis Dixon went to Pittsburgh....

kstater 04-27-2008 12:40 PM

Steelers take a flyer on Dixon QB Oregon.

Mecca 04-27-2008 12:40 PM

The Steelers go Dixon, I wonder if that's to make him a backup QB or make him a WR hybrid type.

Hammock Parties 04-27-2008 12:40 PM

I tell you what, getting Nicks in the sixth is going to be a major steal. Kudos to Herm and Carl!

My job blew up last fall, so I missed about 3/4 of the college season, and most of the games I did catch were Kansas, Missouri or Kansas State on the radio (at work...). Makes it kind of difficult to follow along on draft day. Hell, at this point I couldn't tell you who 95% of the players on Michigan's roster are....

I'm actually just happy I could take yesterday off. May be the only free weekend I have until mid-June.

You think Cushing will be a first rounder?

It will be odd seeing a guy I went to highschool with being drafted.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-27-2008 12:43 PM

Great pick by the Rams.

I think he may be a top 10 pick, he isn't limited he can play in 3-4 or 4-3 I think he may be the highest one taken....

Honestly I think Cushing projects better to the NFL than Rivers because he's not limited by any system or any skill. He can drop out, he can rush like a 3-4 OLB.

I think Cushing will be great and a really high pick.

Frosty 04-27-2008 12:45 PM

Two Beavers on the Rams now. :hmmm:

He has "potential" as a receiver but his size lends to him being a#2 blocking TE with upside as a receiver.

ChiefsCountry 04-27-2008 12:49 PM

Army player is on NFLN now.

alnorth 04-27-2008 12:49 PM

Any interest in Steven Justice if he is available in the 6th? He's apparently the 4th-best center, and the 3rd-best athlete available at the moment.

Coach 04-27-2008 12:50 PM

There goes Rausch's player in Scheuning.

Mecca 04-27-2008 12:51 PM

I personally hope we take Richardson he's worth the shot this late.

Basileus777 04-27-2008 12:51 PM
