Who gets the 1 seed if both us and the Steelers end up with a 15-1 record?

If they lose to Baltimore, for example, both the Chiefs and Steelers have 1 conference loss - that's the first tiebreaker. The 2nd tiebreaker is common opponents. We would win the tiebreaker here because of a higher winning percentage amongst common opponent. They don't play the Raiders but we played the Ravens so our winning percentage would be 100% while there's would be less than 100% due to the loss. But it's pretty freaking complicated to figure out at this point, that's just one example. |
I will be shocked if both the Chiefs and Steelers finish 15-1.

If the Steelers lose 1 game, we want it to be the Bills.(Assuming that they win today and Chiefs win out). We would each have 1 conference loss next tiebreaker is common games. So far we have each beaten every common opponent. Our Bills win would give us the tiebreaker.
|
Next tiebreaker is strength of victory, which currently goes to the Steelers. KC 348-238, Pitt 298-174. Friggin Raiders could screw us there
|
Steelers have 2 losses in them. Probably to 2 AFC teams.
We just need to focus on beating the Broncos, Dolphins, and Chargers. Just beat one of either the Saints or Falcons, and we get to 14-2 with only 1 AFC loss. |
Buffalo can score so that is going to give the Steelers some issues.

Ravens starting RG3 today. Looks like an improvement.

Yeah. That's why I said assuming that they win today. Ravens are short 9 starters. Ingram still out after all. I don't see the Ravens winning. Steelers have Pouncey out. That helps. |
