Alright. That's it. If you haven't replied by now, I'm sorry.

I'll try to knock this out in the next few hours, that way you have time to research your new teams before the 4th round is upon us.

Thanks for your patience.

I would like to participate. I posted on this thread that I wanted to do the full 7 rounds for the Rams , please. I'll even take on another team if need be.

I'm not clear...if I didn't respond, I no longer have the 49ers, or I no longer have a team period?

OnTheWarpath15 03-23-2008 06:41 PM

OK.....for the LAST time.

I've tried to split things up as evenly as possible, but it's not as easy as it might seem. To those who feel shorted, I'm sorry - trust me, it's nothing personal. Matter of fact, the 2 guys that got the short end of the stick got it because I knew it wouldn't be a huge issue to them, and for that, I thank you.

So, here are your new teams. Numbers in parentheses are the number of picks that team has in rounds 4-7.

OTW58: Saints (3), Colts (4), Cowboys (4)

Hamas: Dolphins (3), Browns (3), Vikings (5)

Mecca: Chiefs (7), Chargers (3)

Direckshun: Buccaneers (3), Eagles (5)

Milkman: Steelers (3), Jets (5)

Pestilenceaf23: Jaguars (5), Packers (3)

ChiefsCountry: Raiders (3), Bills (5)

Sfeihc: Texans (2), Broncos (6)

Archie Bunker: Cardinals (4), Lions (4)

Sanka: Bears (4), Titans (4)

BigChiefFan: Rams (5), Redskins (3)

Chiefscafan: Panthers (4), 49ers (4)

Mr. Flopnuts: Ravens (3), Patriots (4)

DaKCManAP: Seahawks (2), Falcons (5)

You no longer have a team, period.

People who didn't respond had their teams taken over by someone who expressed interest in finishing the entire 7 rounds.

I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, but I've spent the majority of my Easter trying to get this straightened out. Part of it is my own doing, as I missed the posts of a few guys who wanted in. But there's been enough time for 14/32 guys to say "yes", and guys need time to research their new teams before the start of the 4th round.

If you'd like a team, say so. I'm not going to re-do the distribution again, but someone may be willing to give you a team......

The Franchise 03-23-2008 07:37 PM

That came out perfectly for me. The Pack and the Jags have their picks close together. Looks like I pretty much own the 5th round....and then don't pick again until the 7th round.

Thanks for all of your hard work OTW58.

JBucc 03-23-2008 07:41 PM

With the final pick that I shall be making for them, the Titans select Chris Ellis, DE from Virgina Tech.

He's very athaletic and can come in and get you know........sacks. Will help replace two DE's lost to Free Agency.

Next!

DaKCMan AP 03-23-2008 09:02 PM

The Seattle Seahawks select DT Ahtyba Rubin, Iowa State

BigRock 03-23-2008 10:03 PM

There were 3 players the Lions were hoping to see make it to their next pick. Two were Dustin Keller and Marcus Harrison, who, sadly, have since joined the ranks of the dearly departed.

But we don't cry over spilled milk in the Motor City. We regroup! We reassemble! And we go with our third option.

With Kevin Jones and TJ Duckett being cut this offseason, there's nobody's back there to carry the ball except Tatum Bell. That ain't good.

With the 87th pick, the Detroit Lions select Ray Rice, RB, Rutgers.

What a draft for the Lions! Four great value picks at significant positions of need! Matt Millen is carried through the streets by throngs of adoring fans!

You are going to be a tough act to follow. Very nice picks.

Direckshun 03-24-2008 12:05 AM

Suggested picks for milkman:

1. OG Robert Felton
2. OG Jeremy Zuttah
3. OG Mike Gibson
4. OG Donald Thomas
5. OG Andrew Crummey

LMAO

Direckshun 03-24-2008 12:11 AM

Seriously, though, here's my remaining top ten, since we're getting to more obscure players:

1. QB Josh Johnson (San Diego)
2. MLB Beau Bell (UNLV)
3. C Mike Pollak (Arizona State)
4. RB Mike Hart (Michigan)
5. MLB Jonathan Goff (Vanderbilt)
6. QB Eric Ainge (Tennessee)
7. SS Craig Steltz (LSU)
8. WR Donnie Avery (Houston)
9. CB Trae Williams (USF)
10. RB Steve Slaton (West Virginia) (Fixed, thanks to Sfeihc.)

Thanks again to OTW for making this happen a full seven rounds.

Edit: And can someone tell me how much they hate my draft? Or god forbid, if they like it? I know not a lot of people know anything about the Bucs but any opinions are welcome. All I've heard the entire Draft was Mecca criticizing me for taking Cason in round one.

He can have the Pats if he wants. If not, I'll be more than happy to draft for them.

Very generous of you.

One of you send me a PM if the change is made, so I don't miss it again.....

:doh!:

OnTheWarpath15 03-24-2008 04:30 AM

Milkman sent me his pick via PM.

The Pittsburgh Steelers select Charles Godfrey, CB. Iowa.

I'm not thrilled with the Steelers corners.

Godfrey is fast, a sure tackler, and isn't afraid to lay the wood.

He needs some work, but has the potential to be a solid cover corner in the league for years.
