I'm pretty sure Mendenhall is going to be fine...guys get hurt sometimes.
I'd wager pretty much anything the Steelers won't be using picks on RB's Parker/Mendenhall is their 1-2 with Moore being the perfect 3rd down type back, they have no problems there. I think they'll be looking more to OL and WR early in this draft. |
I agree, but with how they value running the ball it wouldn't shock me at all if they want an insurance policy.

And that's why I agree with you. But how do you know they won't try to fill a hole in FA, a hole with an earlier pick, and a hole with a later pick, plus a RB?
I'll amend that a bit by saying I agree that they will be looking more toward OL early in the draft, but I doubt they take a WR in the first 3 rounds. |

If it had been me I think the Britton pick is a solid one but I'd have probably followed that with Caldwell and then gone with a guy like Brandon Tate in the 3rd, they strengthen their OL and replace Nate Washington, their defense is still young and strong so they don't need immediate help there. |
I realize that, but you never know who will get cut and be available cheap it's a possibility. Tate would've been a good fit for them though.

Regardless, if you THINK, Mendenhall will be okay, the guy ahead of him is running on empty and still doesn't change the fact that Mendenhall was a major letdown and should in no way, shape, or form, keep them from attempting to upgrade the position. Relying on a starter who rushed for less than 800 yards, a third-down back, and an majorily-injured player isn't thinking long-term, especially with a talent like Jennings available. |
So wait because Mendenhall got hurt they should just give up on him?

He didn't blow out his knee and he'll be fine, they aren't the Titans here who take RB's constantly. |
Anyone seen anything regarding the compensatory picks?
I just got in off the golf course and didn't see anything. |

Holy shit.
We get Mr. Irrelevant. Anyway, sorry I was in class when the list came out. I'm going to eat dinner, watch a few DVR'd episodes of "The Haney Project" and then update the list. ChiefsCountry goes on the clock after I update the list, or at least no later than Noon tomorrow. |
