Freshman of the Week: Ryan Willis, QB, Kansas

Minkah Fitzpatrick was the top freshman in Week 7, but with the Crimson Tide corner checking in as our defensive player of the week, let’s spread the wealth and give Willis a tip of the cap for his performance against Texas Tech. The true freshman completed 35 of 50 passes for 330 yards and two scores and nearly guided the Jayhawks to a huge upset over the Red Raiders.
