Welp, back to Chicago.

75% of my thinking is "It's the Blues. They're the Chiefs of hockey when it comes to being snakebit."

The other 25%? "The NHL has more to gain by having a big media market like Los Angeles or Chicago facing off with New York or Washington in the Stanley Cup finals."

Don't worry, they'll get that. Like when the NY Mets played the Royals of course. The Blues will get to the conference championship and or the final

No they won't. They absolutely had to win tonight and win in a convincing manner to keep any ****ery from the Powers That Be at bay.

They did not do that.

Chicago has the upper hand now. It'll take a minor miracle for the Blues to win two in a row.

And the gambling world wants you to believe that.
Minor miracle?
Which team is a game behind again?
I agree that it may go 7 though.
but it's still the Blues series.

Are you sure you know anything about what's going on here? Why do the Blues have to win 2 in a row to win the series? Stop. Please.

He really is the new CoMo.

Even when he's right, he's incredibly ignorant and stumbled into the right answer by accident. I mean seriously - the guy doesn't even know the standing of the series (or evidently thinks its best of 9?) yet he's still in here yapping.

Was drunk. Made more sense at the time and should have typed "win either of the next two in a row."

The Blues, for everything they are not, are an extremely difficult team to beat 3 times in a row provided they haven't folded up their tents as they have in years past.

They're a tight checking team that plays physical and makes you earn every goal. You're unlikely to go out there and just strafe them; it's almost certainly going to be a one goal game either way.

And when it's 1 goal games, luck plays a huge role. The Hawks got one; will they get 3? Maybe, but they won't get it because they got lucky twice, they'll get it because they significantly outplayed St. Louis. If it's true that the mental makeup of this team is different than in the past, the Hawks won't significantly outplay STL; there isn't an appreciable disparity in talent.

Tough loss but damn what a fun series this is

Predarat 04-22-2016 09:24 AM

Damn looked like Roar Bacon was going to show up again but it turned out to be Turkey Bacon. And holy shit did the Preds take one on the chin last night. So horrible. The Rangers too, yikes. Cannot wait to watch FLA vs NYI tonight, that is shaping up to be a great series.

Man that was a good ass kicking in NY for the Pens. Their defense is underrated. Hope Pittsburgh ends it Saturday

The Rangers looked absolutely dead and lifeless.

They were ****ing awful. I missed the first period but watching them they just weren't good in any phase. Still have to credit the pens. This is a big series for them after losing twice to them in the playoffs the last few seasons.

That is true, the Pens are doing awesome, especially since they are playing their backup goalies. Hornqvist is a beast the Preds sure could use him right now. Malkin had another badass performance.
