MVS seemed to quit on routes and didn’t fight through guys or for the ball as much as I would have liked , hope he works on that next year.

Hey. Quit huffing your ****ing ass. Jesus Christ.

Tyreek Hill leaves, and the Chiefs have the number one offense, and runaway league mvp in Mahomes.

Oh, and in case you missed it, that's without Hardman for half the season, and a limited Kadarius Toney brought in mid season, a greenhorn in Skyy Moore, everyone's favorite snap percentage leader in Justin Watson, and an underutilized MVS.

Now Juju leaves and people are like omg please bring back Hardman?

OH WE MOS DEF SCORING LESS BOIS.

What?

Seriously.

Stop huffing your ass.

This is probably as dumb a question as I’ve ever asked on here, but do you ever just talk football? Or does everything have to be some kind of pissing contest?

Hardman’s speed and quickness, plus that fact that he can run jet-sweeps and other gadget plays as well as run many traditional routes makes him more difficult to defend. With JuJu gone, Andy will need ways to force the defense into having to make decisions. Plus, Hardman is a real weapon in the RZ. This looks s evident in the fact that he scored 4 of the WRs 13 TDs; while only playing half the games.

Make sense? Or are you going to ballistic again for no reason?

I mean, it's possible. But MVS doesn't have a history of doing that. He only has 8 100-yd games to his credit in 5 seasons, and most of them he caught just 4 passes or less to get to 100 yards. In fact, he only caught 4 balls for 100 yards twice, outside of the AFCCG. Basically, if he eclipses 100 yards, it's because he got one huge gain and then a couple smaller ones.

And he never broke 100 yards in a game more than twice in a season.

Not sure if that's a reasonable expectation for him to repeatedly rip off 100 yard games week in and week out for an extended period of time.

I REALLY don't understand the pessimism.

I bet Bienemy would love to get him

You know, that's about the only spot I could see other than just returning to KC.

but still...if Wash is shitty (and who's their QB?) then Hardman screws up his chance to maybe ever get bigger money.

You don't understand the pessimism of MVS being the WR1?

MVS isn't going to be 'WR1'.

We didn't have a 'WR1' in '22. Seemed to work out fine.

'WR1' is a fantasy football invention. It has nothing to do with actual football.

There are 'X', 'Y', and 'Z' receivers, and there are '21', '12', and '13' personnel groupings. These are actual football terms, not 'WR1'.

We'll stack some more guys with specific skillsets that Reid and Patrick will be able to utilize to move the ball and score points, because that's what they do.

It's March, and the roster is nowhere near being set.

Say dumb things, get a response accordingly.

This entire idea that the Chiefs will be scoring less is egregious enough on the stupidity scale that anyone actually partaking and agreeing with it should have their username changed to Bart Scott immediately, because that's the IQ level of that conversation.

Hardman missed half the season and Mahomes set the league on fire on the way to a sb win.

He clearly wasn't missed.

There's been a sect on cp that wants so desperately for Mecole Hardman to be good. As for this amazing redzone superweapon, as of this posting to my knowledge, this ultimate weapon of mass defensive destruction remains unsigned. He has one catcaller in Juan Thornhill who has been relegated to football hell and would apparently like a friendly face to languish with.

No matter how you slice it, Hardman is a gimmick player. He's like an ugly baby that no matter how much you spend at Baby Gap, nothing is going to mask how much of a hideous ****ing chud your offspring is. No little hoodies or shoes are going to help here. Anyone that has the misfortune to gaze upon the visage of this ghoulish little **** trophy is going to instantly be robbed of five years of eyesight and gain a permanent white streak in their hair.

To go on to say that the loss of this guy and tiktok turd are going to cause the Chiefs to not only score less after what Mahomes has shown you, but to double down and say we will score less For the next couple seasons,it's a vast expanse of ignorance that our explorers have merely touched the fringe of.

It's a common fact known by all, that Travis Kelce is WR 1.

He happens to line up at TE quite a bit.

Oh my goodness such the arrogance you have on display. You know exactly what someone means when they say WR1. You know exactly they are specifically referring to who is/will be seen as the leading WR of that team.

Looking at the present roster, not what ever you want to make up what it could be in your head. But what the reality of what it is now. And that reality is that MVS will more than likely be our WR1. Possibly our leading WR in recs, yards, td's, or a combination of them. With the added high risk of fragility with another WR, the hopefulness that one can grow leaps and bounds over his freshman showing with the added mixture of draft picks, PS body or maybe a camp fodder body. Don't act all astonished about me being unexcited with the likes of someone like Corey Coleman probably filling in the back end of the WR room.

And I don't believe for one second that Patrick can elevate the play of any player to what one is comfortable with. I think that is pretty shitty of us as fans to expect that from him.

Its not arrogance. Its what Mahomes does. Thats reality. And its not too much to ask of him. I'd even bet he'd tell u that if you asked him.

FWIW, I'd sure love to have a legit #1again. Would love to be able to give Mahomes a ton of stud WR's, like Joe Burrow has, and let him go scorched earth on everyone, but thats not possible, unless we get lucky and find gems via the draft or sign not very expensive WR's, with potential, and let Mahomes make them reach it.

Except he wasn't able to bring out more from MVS than Aaron Rodgers was. Arguably MVS has had his best overall year opposite DaVante Adams with Aaron Rodgers in 2020.

I just think the idea of expecting Mahomes to take a bunch of question marks year in and year out and expect him to make a steak out of ground beef is foolhardy.

They spent high picks on Chase and Higgins and both will be very expensive. They would be smart to trade Higgins and get picks. Let's not forget their super stud WR's have no rings. Skill players can be neutralized. We won with much less but superior game planning and of course the better QB. They lost the SB and the AFC champ game so their WR's are not everything.

So, the short answer to my question is "no." Lolz.

Welp, that was hilariously predictable. And without any discernment; just a bunch of hyperbole.

Thanks for very little.:thumb:
