Your chances of success are exponentially higher if you build the player’s confidence up and make sure he’s prepared when he goes out there.

You can throw a talented guy out there immediately who has all the tools but isn’t ready to run an NFL offense. They lose confidence and once that happens to a young qb it’s very hard to regain it.

Just be patient and let the kid simmer.
