Holy crap!!
|
Carl is a GOTDAMN MAN!!!
|
I like it.
|
Talk about anti-climactic.
|
THAT was the season finale?
Sucked. Except for Carl. |
Turning the prison into a retirement community.
Cool. |
Yeah, disappointing.
|
If Daryl would of been knocked off...Shiiiiiiiiiiiiitt would have went down!! Lol
|
I still love this show.
But, the finale didn't make me super, uber excited for season four. |
That episode makes me glad Glen Mazzara is leaving the show. It was not very good.... 7 month wait til the new ones.

clearly all AMC. |
Lol and it continues its slope of fail.
Thank god for game of thrones, at least there is one show that will remain true to the books/comics Hope you like season 4 and calling it now, governor will be back for season 4 finale. |
Why in the Hell would Martinez and thug #1 stay with the Govenor, and why wouldn't they have just whacked him after what they witnessed?
|
Quote:
What are they gonna do now? "Uh, OK, Gov ... um, what are your next orders?" Stupid |
And was it just me, or did it seem that the commercial breaks were longer this episode?
|
At least....
Spoiler!

Gotta say that the big war with the governor wasn't anything close to what I had expected. :spock:
|
Wonder where the Gov and his two loyal henchmen went? They should have been back at Woodbury, because they were way ahead of Rick&Co. They were just conveniently out of the way for the Andrea resolution.
|
Started off good enough...weak ending.
Need alot of improvement for next season |
Why wouldn't Ricks team just stay and take over Woodbury? Seemed a lot nicer and better setup than the prison?
|
Plus,

Andrea is gone.
Fist pump. |
With all of the noise that was made, I can see them starting season 4 with a gigantic horde hitting the prison and shaving a lot of dead weight from the group.
|
you can tell AMC is so cheap with their show budgeting.
this show makes them so much money but the amount of money they probably give back is like 1/3. thats why you get half assed anti climatic 20 second shoot outs that was suppose to be this hyped up "war/showdown" with the two groups yea bang up job |

I honestly thought when they got back from Woodbury that the prison would've been overrun and everybody was a walker. THAT would've been a gut-punch ending. |

Cannot believe they expect me to believe Milton burned those zombies. Unbelievable.

"Don't ever be sorry"
Carl did the right thing. |
i like how it was just understood this episode that Merle died
that Daryl was just back to normal and the group didnt give a rats ass. Kind of just whatever |
Michonne didn't give a flying **** that Rick sent her to the devil.
This episode was odd. |
Aside from Easter Dinner and WSU making the final four this sure was a bummer of a weekend.
Concluded by a lackluster TWD finale. |

He almost did. |
I think Carl needs to be put on a leash. The kid has lost it. Sure the kid wasn't dropping the gun fast enough, but they had the drop on him. No need to kill him. That said, what do you even do if you take his gun? Hostage, or let him live to kill one of you another day?
|
They are pointing out that Rick is reclaiming some of his former humanity, that he has reached a turning point after a year of being cold. Michone said :you didn't have to take me in the fenceline: Ghost Lori appears when he is making a non-caring decision. On the other hand, Carl is becoming more ruthless by the day.

guess i'm either getting old or have been under a rock.

What happened to Morgan returning tonight? I thought someone said they looked it up on IMDB?

That was really bad. Next season the story arc will be Rick trying to find a blender so they can purée the food for all the new comers.
|
seriously the gov looks so weak right now
its the Gov and 2 ****ing guys in a truck. what the **** are they going to do honestly |
Heh, exactly what I was saying earlier. That decision didn't make any sense.
but all I could think through that sequence was to wonder why they would choose the prison over Woodbury. One location has electricity, running water, the relative comforts of home, and a perimeter that, while it's been breached at times seems relatively sturdy, particularly against walkers. The other is a prison — and one that still has plenty of zombies milling about, a busted front fence and a gaping hole in the side. It was, like the rest of this season, okay.
I can't believe Andrea couldn't take care of herself. She got free. |

I don't know, I thought season 3 was my favorite so far. Yeah season 2 had a better last couple of episodes, but I thought the first few episodes of this season were the best in the series. It's a shame they had to drag some stuff out, but even some of the character development episodes were good to me.
That said, the finale was lackluster. I think everyone was expecting more after the previews for it last week. Oh well. I'm looking forward to season 4. Breaking Bad coming up a little later. That will keep me entertained for part of the time off. I need to check out Mad Men. Would i like it? |
It felt like just another episode not a finale

They sure hyped up that war for what ended up as a 15 min shootout at the prison. Lol.
|
It's too bad they didn't realize the Woodbury army, Gov included, were all gonna pile up in that room in the prison. Could have set one hell of a trap and ended that whole war real quick lol.
|
"Welcome to the Tombs" - population 3 zombies.
|
Did this get covered....Carl said "Andrew killed mom...".....What? Must have missed something here...!?

Weak. I watched tonight's show and it is the only full episode of the series I've watched.
Poor for a season finale. The little kid with the hat, okay that might go somewhere but everything else: MEH. Once they got rid of the Well Zombie, the place started going downhill. Kinda like Three's Company once Suzanne Sommers left...er, was forced out. |
Surprising that the Governor is still alive after this season. TWD got kind of stale in the 2nd half during the prolongation of this "war" between the two groups, so I'm not sure how much more the show can take of that. Of course, they could do something a bit different with his character. And now that they've taken him into full-on mass murdering, psychopathic maniac territory, they may have the opportunity to paint him as some kind of looming villainous threat for a while. But his character is defined by his conflict with Rick's group and his story will always lead back to them, so it seems a bit to me to be prolonging the inevitable by not killing him off now. I was kind of hoping for a fresh start in S4 after the staleness and it appears we won't have that now.
Andrea's death was somewhat surprising (especially since she got herself free and just had one Milton zombie to deal with), but the show won't miss her presence. And with the amount of mistakes in judgment she made this year, she was fortunate to even make it that far. What I did find interesting in the episode was Carl essentially taking the Governor's motto of kill or be killed when he shot that other kid. It makes sense, though, considering the amoral world he's now growing up in. If he starts to differ from Rick in that way, that might be a conflict that could be explored in S4. Overall, I'd say I expected more out out of this season. A very good first half but it dropped off significantly in the second half. I suppose it paralleled the finale in that way. |
Yeah, it's like they got to the point where the Governor attacks the prison the first time and realized they were out of plot. So then you get characters doing things that make no sense in order to extend the storyline.

I'm at least glad they didn't randomly put Morgan in this episode or have him be the one who burned up the walkers. "Clear" might have been the best episode of this season (and definitely the best in the 2nd half), but it worked well as a one-off kind of thing (at least for now). The Morgan that we saw in it wouldn't be involving himself in a human conflict like the one between Rick and the Governor, he's long past that point. |

Anyone who liked this episode should have their head examined. What a piece of shit. I don't know as I will be back for next season. **** you AMC for having something that could be a great show and ****ing it up horribly. JFC they went into commerial at like 8:44, came back at 8:48, went back to commercial at 8:51, came back at 8:55. We started timing it towards the end because we noticed how many commercials they were running. AMC has to be the worst run station. They decide to take on great shows then **** them up. If they **** up the ending to Breaking Bad I will leave never to return to one of their show. |

I love how an ARMY goes into a prison and a two-man ambush (while missing everyone. Seriously, how do you not kill a single person in an ambush?) causes them to get in their car and literally run? Then the governor, who ran with them, gets pissed off that everyone ran. WTF was that bullshit?
