I don't understand why people are always so mad about us not getting any coverage on ESPN.
Who cares? To be quite frank, I can't even remember the last time I watched SportsCenter. I get all of my information that I want on the internet, anyways. Don't want to read about Tebow? Ok. I don't. |

This board:
1) Hates that we don't get any media coverage. 2) Hates all local and national media. I'm pretty sure everyone on this board hates Colin Cowherd and he's absolutely fantastic. Oh, and he also ACKNOWLEDGES that he only covers the NFL, the Cowboys, the Yankees, the Lakers, etc...because if he covered anything else he wouldn't get any listeners. And you know what? HE'S RIGHT. |
Ok it's past the point of no return. It has to happen. If it doesn't after all this, Clark is going to look like a major ass
|
Andy Reid has a boner for McCluster
sorry to say but it is true as much as I hate the ****ing Midget |

Don't get too ahead of yourself now. Lets at least see what this team looks like heading into camp before we start thinking about playoffs. We got a loooong way to go before that. |

The only way ESPN cares about this story is if they can bring Tebow into it. Anyone on this board could report better on our situation here than those assclowns.

At one point during the interview Reid pulled a Snickers from his pocket, ate it, dropped wrapper on the ground & winked at Pioli. #Chiefs

For all the bitches that are saying Reid's last 2 seasons are what to judge him off of, like Bob Fescoe. I'm going to drop some knowledge on ya.
Marty Schottenheimer: Last year 7-9 (not 4-12 but still losing record) Washington first year: 8-8 Fired after one year raw deal San Diego: First year 8-8 Second year 4-12 (first pick overall = Eli Manning/Philip Rivers) Next three seasons ----> 12-4, 9-7, and 14-2 We'd all take Marty as GM in a heartbeat, even though he couldn't win the big one. You want to complain about 2 out of 14 years just because they're the last two he had? When a coach and a quarterback come together to form a harmonious marriage of awesome, you see what happens. This is the 2013 Chiefs and beyond, so shove your worries where the sun don't shine and save your trolling and bitching for forums that give a shit. How does this compare with Andy Reid you ask? Let me tell ya! 1999: Andy Reid first year in PHI drafts McNabb and goes 5-11 Since then ----> 11-5 11-5 12-4 12-4 13-3 And even then 6-10 (McNabb injured on 11-15 that year and was on IR the rest of the year) 10-6 Playoff loss to NO, 8-8, 9-6 (Lost to an unlikely AZ in the Championship game/ Last year in the full on McNabb era), 11-5 (Donovan and Kolb craziness; McNabb's last season in PHI)Wild Card Loss, 10-6 (Vick/Kolb) Wild Card Loss, then 8-8 (Vick) and 4-12 (Vick/Foles). His entire stint in PHI screams with a great quarterback he'll bring us a winner. When McNabb did well, Andy did well, when Kolb did well, Andy did well, when Vick did well, Andy did well, when Vick regressed, Andy takes the fall? Not in my book. The only thing I blame Reid for is tieing his horse to Vick. Can't get around that judgement, but it worked for him for two seasons before Vick fell apart. |

I guess I find it pretty impressive. People must really respect Clark Hunt/the Hunt family.

Last night while reading reactions on another message board that Andy Reid missed his flight to AZ because the interview ran 9 hours, one guy had this hilarious instant reaction:
"looks like clock management is still an issue" ROFL |

Nah.
I think Manning was hard for Elway from the get go. He made the right choice, too. Denver has more talent than KC does, hate to say it. I do think we were an 11-5 team with Manning, maybe 12-4...so I think Denver was 1.5 wins better than us talent wise. |

There are like....three, fan favorites around here. Is he gonna cut Charles, Flowers, Berry, Hali or DJ? No, no he is not. Is he going to let Bowe walk? Boy that seems unlikely, ditto with Albert now that he's seen the damage inflicted in Philly. I mean seriously, what 'favorites' does this POS roster have on it? Guys that could be 'notable' cuts could be McCluster, Arenas, Lewis, Moeaki, Breaston and Baldwin. I don't see how any of those guys qualify as 'fan favorites'. This roster sucks too badly for us to lose anyone that we like. |
either way
whatever, I'm happy things worked out the way they did no more Patriots way; we get an accomplished coaching staff to take over; #1 pick and possibly Geno and no more Matt Cassel? Yay. |
Baldwin isn't going anywhere. Crimoney.

Yea, that 1.2 million baldwin is gonna cost us this year would just destroy the bank. Breaston will be cut before Baldwin.

People are terrible at mistaking relatively random or complicated events as spot-on trends. On one hand, maybe his time in Philly was up for various reasons, but it doesn't mean the game has passed him by or whatever. |

Pioli's ouster is brought to you by Bob LaMonte, who represents Reid, Heckert, Chilly, and Pat Shurmur. Bob LaMonte does not represent Pioli, so there is no doubt that LaMonte insisted that Clark hire his client Heckert as a package deal.
Perhaps we got a good deal on all of these LaMonte clients since they have all been fired and are owed salaries from their previous employer to help offset the Pioli costs... |

I bet Clayton gets a lot of babes. |
So the very FIRST thing Danny Clinkscale says to open the show is a backhanded comment about how Reid was impressed by having 7 people from the Chiefs in the room with him.
He basically insinuated that it's STILL a circuit and now Andy Reid is part of it. These guys are so desperate. |

Something to scare you about Reid: in the last 6 seasons, his teams won fewer regular season and post season games than... Norv Turner's teams...

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Updated Andy Reid to Chiefs story, with the two men most likely to be his GM in Kansas City. http://is.gd/qse8f8 |
