I'd hold off getting anything graded by SGC. PSA recently bought out SGC so who knows what happens there. If PSA gets rid of the SGC brand completely I'm not sure how well future value holds up on SGC slabs.
If you want an alternate to PSA grading probably CGC, which used to be CSG is the way to go IMO. CGC just recently acquired JSA as well so they are expanding in the market. And with CGC partnering with Topps and Fanatics I can't help but think they are making a real run at market share. Who knows what the grading landscape will be in a decade.
