.

Well you should. If you ever played football.. be it organized or semi series flag football.. then you would know rhythm and consistent plays help the offense flow. Andy hinders that greatly by telegraphed, easily stopped lateral plays resulting in third and longs. Andy hinders Alex greatly by stupid calls. It's blatant and shouldn't be ignored.

In a game where he threw 2 picks and was harangued by the likes of Travis LaBoy and a Chargers squad in the bottom 1/3 of the league in defense. Oh, and it was a game where the Chargers made the comeback in the 4th to send it to OT before Cassel got his shot in OT; a far cry from Smith leading a drive as time expired and converting a 2-pointer to even get there (then having to answer after Denver scored to even stay alive).

He never had games where he stood up to the kind of beating that Smith has stood up to in games like Buffalo and yesterday then led a winner. When he had a chance to show he was more than the feckless quitter we know him to be against Baltimore in the playoffs, he turtled up and died.

I'm not giving Smith credit just for winning an OT game; lots of guys do that. I'm giving Smith credit for standing in there and getting beat around on a day that he didn't have it early, then finding it late to lead his team to a win against an outstanding opponent.

But man, he nutted up and won them a game last night they should have lost. Maybe if he didn't play like ass for 3 quarters it wouldn't have mattered, but he did what he did. It's ok to give a guy credit.

Wrong. If he plays as well as Denvers 7th round rookie, there would have been no over time.

Smith's worst games still yield about a .500 winning percentage. His bad still gives his teams a chance to win.

There's value in that.

Smith has been the beneficiary of stout, opportunic defenses. Without that his win% would be garbage IMO.

Well, sure. Semien made some nice deep throws.

Like I said, if smith plays better the first 3 quarters we probably don't have overtime

I see that now.

I'm just frustrated because I feel like this team is SB ready, and that coward is going to waste our best shot at a SB in my lifetime.

"Oh, but piss on that! cuz it wasn't all pretty!"

Really.. GFY.

You know, jerk-off...this makes sense for you didn't actually EXPERIENCE Matt Cassel and if you had, you MIGHT understand why we wouldn't want our QB to play 55 minutes of a typical game being equal to less competent as him.

Denver will have lost the battle but won the war if last night's awesome win in any way reeruns the organization from firing Andy and cutting Alex.

It was a great win, it was fun, but let's not lose out minds and think Andy and Alex should be retained.

Semien loves the long ball down the left sideline. He has thrown it well all year. That's his go-to big play throw.
