You could sell me on Aiyuk or Chinn, I think they have a lot of upside...Winfield I love.

Gross-Matos to me looks like a guy Seattle will jump on.

In the first, I'd see both of those guys as reaches and I really like Aiyuk. I'd probably go with Reagor over Aiyuk on that board (more upside, IMO).

But when I had the Chiefs in the CP Mock last year and did a similar exercise, I ran out of guys I'd be happy to get around 20-22. It's just a far deeper draft this year, IMO.

I’ve officially reached the point where I just want this to get here and be over.

I'm not really an Aiyuk guy the only reason I could be sold on that is because our team is good with WRs.

Picks that would probably annoy me to be frank

Gross-Matos, I don't see that as a fit.
Chaison just because that's not a fit either.
Austin Jackson
Zach Baun is the one we keep getting in mocks that I'm really not a fan of though.

Apparently teams had Chinn as a 1st/2nd before the combine.

I don’t think it would be a reach as much as the media has led us to believe it would be.

Let’s be real here, none of us have done extensive homework on Chinn and there’s not a ton of “tape” on YT. I love him, but I know I’m doing a lot of projecting based on athleticism and traits (while giving the benefit of the doubt to experts I trust) .

I mean, one things scouts rave about is how good he was in 2018 in coverage against A.J. Brown. I know none of us have saw that game...

Come on, there are at least 3 Youtube videos where you can see him drop back in coverage!

Yeah, you're right. He could be great but only NFL teams have film on him.

He has 3 games on YT. That’s not enough to say he’s a reach with the measurables and production he has.

This is one of those times where I’m going to defer to the experts, and guys like DJ and Matt Miller have been saying for weeks that Chinn is the #1 safety on some teams boards and could easily be the first one off the board.

Something tells me we might like him as much as NFL teams if we could see him ball out against AJ ****ing Brown.

Joe Thomas gives you his OT list...

Obviously not at 32.....but how do you feel about Claypool as a fellow ND fan?

staylor26 04-20-2020 03:30 PM

I thought Wills was easily the best of the top 4 when I watched them.

If you click it he has detailed breakdown of everything, basically he has Becton first because his potential is so high, says his issues should be able to be corrected with an OL coach.

He really shirts on Wirfs though, basically says he has the power lift lower body, causes him to get tired and not be quick enough and he'd be a better guard because he's going to struggle with the athletes that play on the outside.

Couch-Potato 04-20-2020 03:38 PM

All this excitement, and then we wait all day until #32 just for Chiefs to trade down.

Mecca 04-20-2020 03:40 PM

Anyway guys, I got it, to get a player we really want, like say Queen, that means when teams come up that could pick him, we just have to ddos the **** out of them so they can't pick, we on board?

Yep, super tired of the guessing game... ready to talk about what we have, not what might happen
