I drove in SF Bay area traffic once, and I have no desire to ever visit the west coast again. My gawd.

We are lucky, we don't have to deal with the smog captial of the world, California.

Luckily the Jet Stream or whatever its called separates San Diego and Los Angeles, so we aren't polluted.

That would've happened on the way to Lincoln. Lincoln does have a legit downtown area. It isn't Kansas City, but it's big enough.

I'm not sure when, and I'm not sure what thats a reference to, but if you have ever been to National City, Chula Vista, or Imperial Beach (cities within San Diego) thats exactly what it smells like. Unfortunately they get a lot of runoff from the Tijuana River.
