Most of the fans on CP of the Lakers live in CA.

He's clutch when it comes to raping and getting away with it.

Actually I know a lot of Laker fans here in KC. It's strange.

They're everywhere. It's a huge bandwagon base. I see Kobe jerseys all the time. Maybe they're originally from LA, but I don't know.

Myopic Kobe worshipers.

CaliforniaChief 05-08-2011 08:12 PM

I'm probably as bothered by the behavior of a couple of the players than I am the massive collapse of the Lakers' dynasty.

Either way, the Mavs deserve high credit for exposing the Lakers the way they did. Just a tremendous team effort. I can't think of a team that had such amazing bench play.

So congrats, Mavs fans.

If the first basketball team you ever liked when you were little was a team out of your area, it doesn't make you a bandwagon follower.

The notion that you have to live in the same city as your favorite sports team is the dumbest ****ing thing ever.

There are tons of Yankee fans all across the country, but there are some real big diehard fans that have been fans their whole life and lived outside of the triboro area. Doesn't make them any less of a fan.

Most of the Yankee fans outside of the NYC area are bandwagon fans that started liking them because they win all the time.

Most, yes, but not all.

I have several fans who loved the Yankees in the late 80s when they were losing and they weren't from New York.

I like the Chiefs because of Christian Okoye. If winning had anything to do with it, I would have just been a Steelers fan.

Three of the best players from KC area (Anthony Peeler, Kareem Rush and Larry Drew) played for them.

Param 05-09-2011 09:18 AM

Lakers are slow and old as shit. So long Lakers. Your run is done...

ROYC75 05-09-2011 09:23 AM

Nice to see the Fakers are out.
