They’re coming for it next year. Gonna be a great game vs. KC.

For sure. They better get the 1 seed if they want a shot at the SB though.

still a ton of vets out there that will probably take 1 year prove it deals for a shot at FA paydays next year. Chiefs will be riding that wave soon enough. I think they will get some nice value signings this year.

NO is the best team on paper in the NFC right now except for maybe SF.

Sure seems like we say that about the Saints every year.

Brees is super old though, and is due to fall off a cliff. They have 1 (maybe 2) years to win another bowl with this group.

Otherwise, it’ll be time to draft a new QB and build around him.

I’m burned out on them. I’d rather take Brady and the Bucs.

Brees has choked so many times. I just don’t trust him.

Can Jason Peters be moved inside to a guard?

No way he’d sign up for that at this point in his career I don’t believe. Not for as cheap as it’d have to be.

Speaking of which, I really hope the Jets get Peters or trade for Williams so they can take Lamb and keep him out of LV.

Agreed, but you would hope they could add a piece or two that could be a part of the puzzle beyond next year.

Im wondering if they are holding on to Watkins through the draft to see if a WR falls to them. You would think they know by now if he’s willing to restructure to stay in KC. We know for certain he’s not seeing the field at 21MM next season.

The free agent wideout market is garbage. Watkins would be better off renegotiating. Unless he is desperate to get out of town.

Agree. But here we are with Watkins on the books at 21MM...impacting their ability to do a whole lot in FA (along with Jones/Mahomes situation).

I could be wrong but I think we save more cap money if he's cut after June 1.

They could designate Watkins a post June 1st cut right now if they wanted to.
