I actually hope we play our starters, at least for a half or so if we already clinched the bye, in that Chargers game.

I’m not a big believer that two bye weeks in a row is the best thing for a team as hot as we are. We saw it last year with Baltimore. The one bye is great, but I completely buy into the theory that consecutive weeks without playing begins to bring rust into the equation.

I don’t like that. 1 week is fine. 2 weeks off is too much. Throws off rhythm. .

Which is exactly why Andy wouldn’t rest them.

But it would be nice for them not to have to play all 4 quarters.

I’m pretty confident we won’t need that last game. We are not losing to Taysum Hill or whatever version of implosion the Falcons decide to field that day. And the Steelers will lose to the Colts.

I just don't want anybody getting hurt in a meaningless game, but I see your point.

I didn't believe this before tonight's game. But now I think IND steamrolls PIT no question.
