Really? The Chiefs are 9-1 and you want them to start an undrafted rookie at QB?

That might not work so well.

Smith is getting one more year as unquestioned starter and will probably get an additional one after that.

And don't give me this Bray nonsense. He's a UDFA; unless he's ****ing Kurt Warner he's a backup at best.

I knew exactly why the price was paid.

It was a second, and a conditional.

Andy and John saw an offense devoid of talent, and needed a caretaker.

You want to know how I know I am right, and you and your slurpers like JasonsAuto are wrong?

The fact that already the Chiefs have picked up 3 FORMER 49ER RECEIVERS THIS YEAR!!!!!!

and how I can tell you further how I am right, and you are wrong?

Watch HOW MASSIVE THE OVERHAUL is on the Chiefs offensive weapons will be in the offseason.

Take a guess at who will still be here.

Hint. Hes number 11

My guess is that the chiefs will take a TE, a WR and a couple of OL (guards) early in the draft..unless there's a major pick up in FA.

They don't get that, and they never will. Our last three wins were offensive garbage as well. The picture has been painted. Time to blow it up and start again.

Good thing we used those draft picks on a caretaker, instead of improving the offensive talent then.

Keenan Allen, Zach Ertz, Gio Bernard, Robert Woods, Terrance Williams, Marquise Goodwin, Jordan Reed all could've been had at our 2nd round pick.

If all it takes is improved offensive talent around a shitty qb to make the shitty qb play better, then why didn't we draft one of these guys and keep Cassel? Reid thought that Smiff would improve the play of those around him and he simply hasn't. Why is it so hard for you to understand the concept that good qbs elevate those around them, while shit qbs have to be carried by those around them?

which is why i included the part about being let down by his coaches.

our coaches don't run the ball enough even when it shows success

it's a litany of failures

a blown Oline assignment
a dropped pass
a stupid coaching decision
a bad penalty

Manning was 24/40
Smith was 21/45

You figure in a half a dozen drops or 'poor catch attempts' and Smith completion % is almost identical to Manning's

Bowe would be #3 or #4 on Denver's team. Avery wouldn't even make the roster. The NFL knew this when nobody was interested when Pioli was trying to tag and trade Bowe.

Everyone wants an elite QB but Alex Smith isn't THE issue.

We all know that the draft, camp, and preseason happens between week 11 and 12.

Jerry was great at YAC and rarely dropped a ball....so I'm going to disagree with you here.

And in that lovely case, we'll still be sucking Donkey cocks on offense. Yay.

So, your idea is that the Chiefs should have stuck with Cassel? You want to go on the record as saying getting rid of Cassel was a mistake? That's bold.

How come the "All-World" Denver Broncos greatest WR core has more drops than the Chiefs?

The picture was painted long before he came to KC. Though I understand why they brought him in, and that is because they didn't like anyone in the draft or other FA's QB's.

They didn't like any one else so they overvalued a shitty QB enough to make an offer the 49ers couldn't refuse 1 month before it could even be completed.
