Al Jazeera's Deborah Davies told CNN there was a second source who confirmed what was said by ex-Guyer Institute employee Charlie Sly (who later recanted everything he was caught saying on hidden camera):

"Davies said she could not identify the anonymous source, but called the person 'absolutely impeccably placed, knowledgeable, and credible,' someone who gave Al Jazeera more confidence in what Sly said on tape.

"She said the source confirmed that shipments of HGH, or human growth hormone, were 'repeatedly sent to Ashley Manning in Florida and other places in the U.S.'"

Here's the response from Manning's camp, headed up by former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer:

"It doesn't matter if Al Jazeera has one source or ten sources about Ashley. It's meaningless.

"Given the fact that Peyton publicly said he never took anything sent to Ashley, and Tom Condon, Peyton's agent, said any medication shipped to Ashley was by prescription and taken solely by her, what difference does it make about Ashley? The only thing left to Al Jazeera's story is an attempt to violate Ashley Manning's medical privacy.

Fleischer is correct since Al Jazeera and their sources have been proven to not be in the least bit credible. You are a complete jackass.

Scandal? Only here of those jealous of what a winning franchise looks like. Already confirmed by the league over 15 years ago that there was no competitive advantage. That type of cheating is done by the Pats or even the Chiefs for Maclin incident. I understand it as I would need the feeling of cheating if I had Sanders in my grasp but then got a phone call from Elway that you are wanted on a good team.

I hope he is in terrible pain for months and never plays again.

Why wish pain on anyone. Trev is out for a couple more weeks. I miss him more than Tito Jackson whom the Jags totally over paid for much like they did for Thomas who has used hang nails and other ouchies to stay off the field while collecting a pay check.

Elway is the Master of retaining the right guys for the right price. He got Okun on a team friendly deal, then got Wolfe on a team friendly deal. After dumping Dirty Sanchez he took that money and locked up Sanders for a fair deal that he might not have been able to afford if he had to pay both Von and a legit VET QB. Instead John pays one 3rd string vet QB for the min and has a rookie locked in to 4 years with a 5th year option and a 2nd year 7th round QB who is the current starter for even less money.

All those guys Elway has brought in are contributing. Maybe Ware gets healthy the rest of this year, repeats as a SB winner then gets paid to go to kC to help out there for a year or 2 before retiring to get PAID.

kC has so many draft needs that they have wiffed on the last couple years it is funny.

John has yet had to cut ties with a high picked player during his tenure. mCd did it but he was also sent out by Belly to destroy the NFL so Belly could flourish and win uncontested SB's.

Trevathan is the one guy I would like to have, depth in that Inside rotation would be great. Davis is learning but Zaire Anderson seems to be the real guy they want to groom there.

He vehemently denied HGH allegations the first go-round.

The second source says HGH was indeed shipped to his wife's name to his address. He doesn't deny that.

Eat it hgh cheater.

Ah the old anonymous source of a source from a source. Great journalism there...

If you believe that, I have the deed to the Brooklyn bridge I'd like to sell ya.

PFF OL rankings...

Quote:

6. Denver Broncos (28)

Starters: LT Russell Okung, LG Max Garcia, C Matt Paradis, RG Michael Schofield, RT Donald Stephenson

Maybe the surprise O-line of the season—if that title doesn’t already belong to the Giants—the Broncos have seen massively-improved play across several spots. Matt Paradis has been the best center in the game so far this season, and the only poor performances have come from when they needed to go to the bench and start players like Ty Sambrailo, who has allowed seven total pressures in only 84 pass-blocking snaps. The Broncos’ offensive line has been a big reason for the relative success of QB Trevor Siemian and RB C.J. Anderson.

Broncos fans were told by Chiefs fans how bad Stephenson was and Broncos paid too much. While he has been out a few games, he has looked like an improvement over last season.

Lol! Now that it came out that he shot himself, receivers shouldn't need to worry. That is one crazy stat, better to throw it away then to have a chance to get picked by Talib.

I didn't like the pickup, thought it was a head scratcher at the time but again John shows his brilliance.

Lands a serviceable guy on a deal that is team friendly, did not overpay, while upgrading the position. Though just about anyone would be an upgrade over Schofield at RT.

Elway got Okun dirt cheap and then Stephenson which allowed them to move the young Schofield inside to Guard where he is improving.

Only problem with Stephenson has been the fact he has been dinged up.
