@Lance_THESPOKEN: Alex Smith can change from 7 yrs of mediocrity. RT"@BlakePennSMS11: @Lance_THESPOKEN The Chiefs will make the playoffs if ______?"

Let's assume for a second that Geno Smith won't become a legit starting NFL QB.

What exactly did we save by trading for Alex Smith? How the **** was he the safer option again?

He was more expensive. More likely to wallow in mediocrity and waste several years in the careers of our best players. More likely to get injured.

It's not provable now, but in two or three seasons we'll all see that even in a ****ing terrible draft class of QBs, drafting your starter beats trading for him EVERY. GODDAMN. TIME.

Thank God we never take chances at the QB position. We might actually have to deal with success if we ever did that.

We did, but thats what i expected. I dont expect this team to be any good unless somehow our defense turns into a 49'er clone.

Only Chiefs fans can be disapointed when they are right.

Guys, it's early in training camp, lets give it time. Offenses are always behind early in camp

So bad he makes Sean Smith look good.

You know, that's another part of Jon Baldwin that has been disappointing...he doesn't fight for the ball like he did in college.

If that was a deep ball, it's the receivers job to knock the ball down if he can't catch it.
