Oh and last time he was an OC he had the #9 passing offense. But yeah, nice try.

So who will be your head coach next season?

So many phantom wins.

Paul Rhoads probably lol.

Unless he doesn't win a game the rest of the year, then who knows. There's some winnable games left though. Dropped the ball against Iowa and Toledo we coulda/shoulda won... Both are still undefeated.

I personally wouldn't be mad if they brought in Bo Pelini or Mike Leach though.

If Rowdy Boy Rhodes is back next year, it's because ISU doesn't have the cash to buy him out. (I believe he's owed something like $4.5 million within 60 days if he's fired). On balance, ISU has been the second worst team in the conference during his time there, and they're only getting worse. I think you can get a decent coach. You've been beyond patient with Rowdy Boy.

Yeah it would be a big buyout with his 20 year deal he got a few years ago, but we are saving a lot with Prohm over Fred, and if the donors want CPR gone they would pay it... The two biggest donors who just paid for the SEZ love him though.

This is what happens when you let donors call the shots...Prohm and Rowdy lead your teams. Sounds like a certain basketball program that I follow...

I have a feeling Sturdy will do well to end the season at OC and get the staff a last year though. There's a lot of young talent at the moment.

20 year deal? That can't be serious. That's an exaggeration right.

Whoops meant 10.

Talent?

The last ranked team in recruiting in the conference since 2009 has been either Iowa State or Kansas State.

Most recently Iowa State is last three years in a row.

Dude, stop trolling the ISU fan. I come here to read (and occasionally post) about KU football. :cuss:

He's friends with the Bulls GM and he even helped Fred put together his first Iowa State staff. Pretty sure Fred grew up a Bulls fan and even played for them. Taking your dream job isn't quitting. At least our coach was good enough to be in the NBA unlike Bill.

You really don't get it. Why would Self go to the NBA when he has it made at Kansas? Kansas hoops IS a dream job.

And yeah, I know I just scolded bambi for engaging Rusty but I just couldn't let this moronic comment go.

Lanning, Warren, Thomas, Lazard. Montgomery, Bundrage, Wesley.

Yeah, there's more than enough talent for an OC.

Donors were willing to match his deal with the Bulls, but the NBA is Fred's dream. Some guys like college, some like Pro, some like other sports or no sports at all. Great for Bill being a college guy.

RustShack 10-29-2015 02:21 PM

Oh and someone said no one would want to come to Iowa State, well Washington States former HC who was with the 49ers during their SB run is VOLUNTEERING.
