Selden looking good,

Ceej 07-08-2015 08:04 PM

Okay, that was pretty sick.

If Selden can figure it out this year, and maintain it. Man..

Buehler445 07-08-2015 08:05 PM

There is another game on?

Lob fest.

Holy ugly basketball batman.

This simply isn't competition for us. Playing with half a team and it's just a scrimmage pretty much every time out.

That being said Diallo landed in Lawrence today. It's pretty much on now.

I had big hopes for big Cliff last year.

My hopes for Cheick exceed those by a mile.

I'm sorry but I'll stick up for Cliff here. It's not like he was "bad".

He made freshman mistakes and Self would pull him instantly. He never did that to Wiggins.

Maybe he practiced like shit and that factored into it. Who knows...

But there was more going on with the team in 14-15 than Alexander being a knucklehead. There was plenty of blame to go around.

I'm not saying Cliff was terrible. And who knows what went on behind the scenes.

But, his mom really ****ed him over. Could have used his big body in March.

That's for sure.

Cliff was entirely different talent that Wiggins.

The simple truth is the son of a bitch would absolutely not score with his back to the basket, which you have to do in his position. FFS, I was a shit ass terrible player at a tiny highschool, and I could post up and at least make a move with my back to the basket. It was mind ****ing boggling. Back on point though, Wiggins didn't have trouble scoring or moving the ball from his position.

Defensively, Wiggins was one of our best defenders. Cliff was an awful defender. He blocked some shots against moron players that didn't think he could get off the floor or whatever they were thinking, but you couldn't count on him to defend a guy in isolation, much less through defensive rotation.

Cliff and Wigs were absolutely not the same guy.

Buehler445 07-08-2015 10:48 PM

Oh, and Cliffs mom is a ****.

Lithuania Friday at 10pm. I could get used to seeing the Jayhawks play at that time. 6:30am, not so much.

I'm so happy that Selden is finally quieting down the dipshits who didn't understand why he was starting. He's clearly healed, his shot is fixed, and his explosion has returned to his pre-injury status of flying to the rim. Oh, and he's the vocal leader of this team, which should also take a lot of heat of Mason.

This team is going to be sick fun to watch this year.

Prison Bitch 07-09-2015 05:49 PM

Wayne looks like the guy we expected. I'd take the 2 extras on this team, Moore looked bad first few games but he's been fine last two and I can see why he was POY in his league. I want Hunter playing decent min. (Backing up Chieck obv)
