Nope i havent tried to seriously date a girl in a few months.

I was messing around with one and she did something last night that was a complete turn off. I made it known im not interested in anything i told her to try and date other people. Last night while on a date she was texting me telling me how she wanted to ditch him and comeover and ****.

Like DaKCMan said, in your case it probably makes sense to move on because you aren't looking for the same thing. But there's no reason why everyone on a dating site needs to be looking for the same thing. Some might want NSA sex, some might be looking for a long term relationship and some, like this girl apparently, might be looking to date around and see what kind of chemistry develops.

I understand that not everyone is looking for the same thing. But, I don't understand the mindset of going into a date with the idea of "I'm not looking for a relationship". It seems like a good way to potentially miss on someone who (not saying I am) is awesome.

But maybe I'm just putting too much thought into this.

That line doesn't always work with women because more often than not they're wanting a long term thing from the start. That's why you have issues with a lot of guys pretending and tricking the girls into thinking they want the same thing, when in reality all we want is the puhhh.

Over 3 years ago I was casually dating a girl. She's younger than me and was just finishing college while I'd been working full time for 4 years. We were at different places in our lives and she didn't know what she wanted yet. She wasn't ready for a relationship. I broke off our dating and didn't see or talk to her.

Fast forward 3 years. I've had several relationships/dating since, she had been in a long-term. We're both single and reconnect. We're now at the same point in our lives and we're now in a relationship. It's so much stronger than it would have been back then. What we have now was also possible because I ended it when I did 3 years ago. We wouldn't have been in the position to reconnect and try again if we had continued to move forward (without really moving forward).

So.. That girl messaged me today and asked me if I wanted to meet up.

We went out for ice cream and talked for a good 2 hours. I had a really wonderful time. She even kissed me and said she wants to do something again sometime soon.

All in all, a very good date. I'm definitely interested.
