Keep bashing him, I'll keep backing him.

Just own it. You are a prisoner of the moment. You were fine with it, until you one, went back came down off your excitement of the win, and saw the tape, and two, saw how geno played. It is just what it is. But, it was YOU.....

I would give you all of that. EXCEPT THIS ONE, (and I agree with you on how he played against the Titans. Worst game I have seen him play since last year against the JETS)

Just own this one, because this disproves your I showed no HAPPINESS with Alex Smith in the titans game.

Geno seems to really have nice poise. He can really make nice throws, too.

Do I think he has what it takes to be a "franchise QB"? No. I don't.

You guys obsess over the wrong players.

We made one mistake this offseason. We should have taken a defensive stud #1 overall rather than Fisher. I think Fisher needs a year to adjust to the NFL and he'll be a fine player...but our defense is scary, scary, scary good...just think what one more premier pass rusher would have done for this defense.

Really?

mac n chiefs 49er is a avid Alex Smith supporter, hes in the red.

AlexSmiff, alice smiff, Kaepernick, all known alex dislikers all were green.

Even though Alex Smiff, and Alice Smith were banned. They were still in the green.

It is an AUTHENTIC viewpoint. Actually, its as close as you can ever get to a FACTUAL opinion on a message board. Your only way to dismiss it, is to just dismiss it without doing the research.

Ill gladly eat crow if you prove me wrong. The fact is, that the positive guys on here, for the most part, get eaten alive.

You're either twisting this, or are simply a very stupid person. The point is not about anyone giving a shit if you wish to keep an eye on Geno and see how he does. I am sure most football fans have at least a slight interest in seeing how this rookie evolves into the pros. Like I said.. nothing too strange or troubling about that. Just as there's nothing wrong with fans of Alex keeping an eye on his future performances with a new team.

It is how one goes about doing these things that will be judged. If you are a cum guzzling tool screaming, "see!?! I tolds ya KC should have drafted Geno! He's the choco-king and can't be stopped! He should be our QB, boo-hoo!"

then yes.. people will judge you as a crybaby pussy that can't get over the choices made by your F/O.

Just as if there were any SF fans truly coming over here to say, "Alex is awesome! and you should all be worshiping his ass!"

then yes... then it would be fair for others to roll their eyes and say GTFO.

If you are simply intrigued by Geno's/Alex's future, then no... nothing to really be critical over. It's all about how you "carry" yourself.

Now, is that to difficult for you to wrap your brain around?

so because one or two morons stated such a thing, that means we all did?

Most just suggested that he was better than the credit being given to him. No one stated that he was elite or that KC was now SuperBowl ready for adding him. At least no one here that you are lumping in with prior SF visitors.

It's funny how he can be a turnover machine through the preseason and the whole season until week 5 when he actually acquits himself like an NFL quarterback, and all of a sudden now his balljockeys are proven right.

Nobody's been proven right or wrong from this Falcons game. The "balljockeys" were just getting sick of the "See? I told you! Bust-o-rama!" talk from the haters. They like Geno and want to see him do well.

ESPN did a graphic where they talked about Geno's high number of INTs for a rookie starting QB, and how those numbers resembled 2 QBs in particular when they were rookies. One was Ryan Leaf. The other was Peyton Manning.

Again, that says nothing about which direction he'll go, only that being a turnover machine in the preseason and through 4 regular season games doesn't ****ing matter, and can't possibly predict the success of a rookie QB.

Hahaha

I'm a bandwagon fan?

Holy shit.

2 things we have learned today from some dumbass 49ers fan:

1) it's not ok to be a fan of a player that is not on your team (even though the dumbass claiming that is on a Chiefs board because he followed Alex Smith to KC)

2) life long fans of teams are known as bandwagon fans, but people that adopt a new team after eating a dozen jelly donuts at age 39 are real fans.

I don't recall, ANYONE doing that. Other than Mac who has given Alex Smith the most credit. Most have stated what he is. Better than anything they had at qb last year, and an efficient game manager, who will make enough plays to help the team, but cant carry it.

Who is making excuses?

People are comparing a 9 year vet, to a rookie, because the title SAYS TO.

He is what he is alright. And what he is, was/is NOT worth 2/2's.

That's undefinable. Draft picks, mean far more or less to different people.

The draft picks don't bother me. Of course im not a chiefs fan, who now in hind site, knows I could of gotten Geno Smith.

But, I think the pick compensation was adequate for what they received.

His Ceiling is probably that of Matt Schaub, and that's what the Falcons got for him.

But, you are entitled to how you feel.

And those specifically came from 49ER FANS who are here because of Alex Smith?

Okay. Ill take your word for it, but those never came out of my mouth.

I hold Alex Smith, accountable for Alex Smith.

Rookie RT sucking is A OK with you?

Yeah, those stupid Alex Smith apologist had no reason to ask for the O-Line to play better.

http://abload.de/img/44l6udb.jpg

The 49ers were 31st in pass attempts And Anothony Davis led the NFL in sacks allowed.

And Vernon Davis was actually less of a factor in Smith's numbers improving 2011-12 than the 2 years prior.

Why are Tom Brady and Alex Smith nearly the same this year?

Why does Alex Smith have a higher winning % then Tom Brady Drew Brees Matt Ryan in the past couple of years

QBs playing with some guys new to the system. KC it is everyone.
3rd string TEs.
Higher than normal pre-snap penalties.
Higher than normal dropped passes.
