I’d add D’Ante Smith to that list. He was as dominant as Meinerz before he got banged up.

He only really looked dominant as a guard and that's what I think he gets drafted as. He looks like a really good LG.

There was a ton of Willie Gay love here last year.

I remember there was quite the DeShaun Watson faction here as well. People loved Mahomes' arm and stats in college, but Watson was a national champ and played against defenses better than what the Big XII had to offer. I can’t see Niang, who was a 4 year starter at right tackle, being penciled in as the LT.

If things go “right” and they get their left tackle in the first round, I think the battle for right tackle comes down to Remmers and Niang, with Niang winning the spot outright, leaving Remmers as the Swing Tackle again.

I could also see Remmers start the first quarter while bringing Niang up to speed.

I think he’s better at G too but could play RT. I don’t think he’s a starting LT at the next level.

He played at 280 lbs. The knock on him was that he needed to put on weight. He showed up at the Senior Bowl at 300 lbs. and looked great in 1:1 drills.

This feels like the slowest second wave of free agency ever. Like there wasn’t even a second wave at all.

I think Gay can make several big plays a game. I just never saw him as the do it all eraser that teams covet.

He didn’t play as much in college as most think he did. He has a ways to go in learning the mental side of the game, but if he keeps improving week to week like he did, he might be an all pro in a year or 2.

How bout we see him just start and play a full game before we get ahead of ourselves?

When he was on the field, he made a lot of game changing plays and constantly improved. If he didn’t lack experience, he would have been a mid first kinda guy.

Also, I enjoy projecting.

Want to see him used more on passing downs where he can either attack the QB/ or drop off in coverage. Allows Spags another toggle to mess with people and he is beast coming at the QB and has speed range to play coverage.

Orlando Brown was a splashy signing, the draft was a whole lot of depth. But what can you expect from a 2-time Superbowl team? Day-1 starters aren't easy to come by for a team this good.

The offensive line rebuild and how fast it has taken place makes next year so interesting.

The division and really much of the conference has been building their roster to beat the Chiefs for the past 3 years, and now their whole offense is evolving. The way they attack defenses might very well look different than it has for the past few years and if so, it’ll be up to defenses to find another ‘blueprint’ yet again.

Gray won’t “start” but he’ll be the 2nd best TE on the roster and should get some chances

Powell is a wildcard. If he understands the playbook and proves to be a talented receiver, he’ll play

Trey Smith may need some refining but he’s not a typical 6th round project lineman. He very well might be better than Long and LDT. Not sure if he can beat out Blythe, though

On paper this is a very impressive draft because I think it’s reasonable we got 5 immediate “contributors” including atleast one starter, for a back to back SB team

Part of a Kansas City Chiefs DE rotation might be a good role for Ryan Kerrigan.

Last year with Washington, he had 397 snaps, 25 tackles, and 5.5 sacks.

Would be interesting to know why his production dropped off from 2019 to 2020.
